Perfect for an avid alphabet fan, especially one who is too young to write letters. At 1 1/2 H knows upper and lower case and can name things that start with the letter sound of a lot of letters but is way too young for writing. Sometimes we just look and lift the flaps naming the creatures and other times he wants to trace the letters. This book can grow with little ones for a long time.
