Filled with romance, passion, and lust, Love Between Men offers irresistible erotic fun while celebrating the coming together of souls as well as bodies. Two traveling husbears meet a willing twink in Jeff Mann's "One Afternoon in the Bible Belt." A sneaky environmentalist gets sandwiched between hedonistic mountain men in Bob Vickery's "Loggers." Two partners share a leisurely Sunday morning with scintillating surprises in Hank Edward's "Breakfast in Bed." Rob Rosen's "Skyrockets in Flight" is particularly delicious, with naughty bits in every line. Perfect bedtime reading for gay couples, Love Between Men is an inspiring and enticing testament to same-sex love.
Even though Love Between Men is mainly erotica, there is a lot of sweetness in the stories. Like every anthology some stories were better than others, but overall I enjoyed it.
The audio version is nicely performed by Bowen Godeep (lol, possibly not their real name).
First, let me state that my copy of "Love Between Men," edited by Shane Allison has 214 pages, including the last pages that listed other books edited by Shane Allison, as well as an order form.
Second, I had forgotten how delicious it is to read Gay Male Erotica. So many excellent short stories. I shall list them, as well as my favorites.

I really could go on, but in closing, if you have not read any delicious Gay Male Erotica in far too long, then I highly recommend "Love Between Men," edited by Shane Allison.
7.4/10⭐️ Ranking anthologies feels so much more difficult. I feel like this was an amazing collection of stories and it was paced nicely with topics, minus the last choice. However some stories surprised me sooo much!
If I had to pick my top three I’d go with: 1️⃣ Rings 2️⃣ Dressed to Impress 3️⃣ Switchback However there are two others that would be honorable mention, which are: 4️⃣ Breakfast in Bed 5️⃣ Line of Sight
This anthology is heavy on the sex, some of them to the point of that being the only thing in the story (not much plot wise). There were some standouts that I liked above the rest and some that made me quirk an eyebrow in confusion!
Tokens by Pepper Espinoza is a romantic, sweet story of an unromantic man finding out maybe there’s more to all that heartfelt stuff than he thought. Hiding the shoes? Adorable.
Tom’s Feet by Gregory Norris - eyebrow quirked. It’s a ramble about a fairly uncouth guy (Tom) with some hot, sweaty size 12’s that his “effeminate, fairly successful” writer boyfriend can’t get enough of, to the point that when he’s trying to leave Tom the feet are a stopping point. Or is that what it is? One Afternoon in the Bible Belt by Jeff Mann and Breakfast in Bed by Hank Edwards are both basically sex scenes, one with a threesome, the other sweet with an established couple.
Skyrockets in Flight by Rob Rosen was another favorite. Very creative and clever treasure hunt by an established couple spicing it up. Loved the whole premise.
Public Displays of Affection was not for me – mannequin sex!
Something Different by Kyle Lukoff was sort of bittersweet, a story I would have loved to have in longer form with more backstory. I felt for Johnny and the changes he was forced to make but hopefully it worked out.
Just as a random note, some of the wording just didn’t work for me in some of the stories. Dickmeat was used a lot (Loggers) and the terms “fuckstick” and “bunghole” aren’t sexy, in my opinion. Since the focus of some of the stories is the erotic, those words that made me cringe didn’t work as well.
I should've known what I was getting into here... Some of the stories were definitely good but others... not so much. "Piss slit" used multiple times. Couple of the authors seemed to try to make their story as manly as humanly possible and it was more of a comedy than arousing. Some really GOOD stories though.
