Introducing NAKED, the dark and sexy new adult series from New York Times bestselling author Kelly Favor. And now the series continues with book 2...
Caelyn Murphy is broken.
She's broken because of something that was done to her--something she can't even bear to think about. So she does the only thing she can think of...she runs. Away from her Ivy League college, away from her perfect life, and away from the man who hurt her. Only she runs straight into...
Elijah.
Elijah Daniels is hardened from a life that's seen the worst the world has to offer. But when he meets Caelyn, he knows there’s something different about her. She's been through hell and back, but she hasn't given up.
Caelyn can see that Elijah is gorgeous on the outside, but she also knows he's dangerous. And the last man she trusted hurt her so badly, she may be beyond repair.
But the harder she tries to resist, the more Elijah’s persistence strips her of her armor and leaves her naked and vulnerable.
In the end, neither of them will be able to predict just how far they might have to go to save themselves...and each other.

A 5 star with that cover! But this book is so short, the story line didn't move much... Caelyn and Elijah's story continues and Caelyn has no choice but to go home to her weird family, her sister I very much want to slap...
then there's the psycho Jayson..... But the book is like 45 pages!!! WTH! It's not worth the price, even if it's $.99 still not worth it! Books like this pisses me off.... It's too bad cause I really like the story...
The story line is good so I want to keep reading but because of the way the author publishes these books I may stop. First we pay 3 dollars for the book (hate to call it a book, it's like a pamphlet) it's only 40 pages. There are full books that cost less. Then she puts them out slowly. You have no idea when they will be available. It's very annoying. I really love the author but this will be the last time I fall for her tricks. I am going to have to quit her after this story base on principle. There is no reason for this but pure greed. It is sad, because her stories are good.
still loving Caelyn & Elijah. Well, when she made that phone call at the end of the last book, there were no confessions as I thought, but even if she did tell her mum the truth I doubt she would've believed her daughter anyway.
my god is Deena a little bitch, & so are her parents to be honest. can't wait to see Jayson get what's coming to him, piece of slime deserves it!
we did get a little slip up with character names, where "Jayson" popped up when it should have been "Elijah", just like it happened a few times in the "for his pleasure" series. but I can forgive Kelly for that. there is just something about her books that I love, with the exception of fight for her, I just didn't connect with that one :(
I just really hope Kelly brings this series to an end before it fizzles out like "for his pleasure" did...
SO DONE....45 PAGES FOR $2.99...total BS...NOT to mention half the book was about her 17 year old sister that was put in charge of her by her parents... really? totally too far fetched for me ... I would have drilled my sister in the face... and told my parents off...TOTALLY FRUSTRATED!!!! not to mention the type-0's... is Jason...or Jayson...and then she had Jayson instead of Elijah??? come on it was only 45 pages get it straight.....
This "series" started with Naked and continued on with Bad but these pieces of writing are not complete books. It's like the author just couldn't wait to get part of the story out there and published what she had finished. Most books that are part of a series still have a beginning, middle and an end. These are just one story chopped up. It's actually frustrating to read because you are in the middle of an event in the story and it just stops. I actually like the story but I wish it had been published completed. I'd comment on the story but it's not finished yet so I can't do a full review of the book because it's not a complete book.
Feel short changed as about half the listed page count is advertising for another author!!!! Don't think I will purchase this author again after I finish this series as it is now the second collection from this author which has been disappointing for the cost of the books and how little is actually relevant to the book you bought in each one purchased. I think it is very misleading by the publishers.
If you are still reading after my rant....
This installment sees Elijah in Jail and Caelyn looking for options when her disapproving parents and sister try to make decisions for her. This then puts her into the arms of Elijah.
This is the second book in a series. We still have Caelyn and Elijah in a car, learning things about each other. Elijah is a super bad boy with a hot head. After deciding he would take Caelyn to the bus stop in New York, he then decides to drive her all the way to Florida. They are becoming closer every day.
This book is very tame. Its a Young love type of book. If you like sweet moments and stolen kisses this book is for you.
Liking this story so far. I like the chemistry the 2 have together. The book was a bit short though. I'm still interested in what happens next. I only hope it's a bit longer. I feel so sorry for her and how things are going in her life.
I am enjoying this story so far though it seems be taking a long time to get to the sexy stuff, which is not too bad I guess, giving us more time to get to the know the characters and really care about them. I look forward to continuing the series.
Caelyn sister Deeanna is being a real bitch in this one. Dee only thinks of herself. And tries to blame Caelyn for everything. Caelyn and Elijah are living together at his apt. Elijah tries to change a new leaf, but it hard for him to do so. So Caelyn and Elijah have accepted each other as is.
I feel so bad for Caelyn by the end of this installment. Her and Elijah truly need each other and a HEA! I do wish the story was just made as one book instead of a serial novella, but it is still worth the read.
Nah, if its going to take 10 more books to end this series, no thanks. It's frustrating and the characters are so confused. I GUESS that's teenage angst for you. I'll stop on book 2.
