Dedication: To Kevin. Thank you for teaching me to live one day at a time.

In Doing Less and Having More we are asked:

What does it mean to have more?
Exactly what do we want more of?

Those questions require us to schedule a short date with ourselves for the purpose of exploring what really matters to us and what we are willing to do about it.

To gain that which is worth having, it may be necessary to lose everything else--Irish political activists Bernadette Devlin.

If you could create your life the way you want it and, actually live by your standards exactly what would you want more of?

Doing Less and Having More is a must read for those who are going somewhere but who are going nowhere.

This book was 'so so' for me. It had some interesting ideas but was more or less a re-packaging of other sorts of similar things I'd read in the past. Some of the goal setting elements were a good refresher, though, and I liked how she summarized every chapter in a short bulleted list at the end - had I realized it would be a bit more of the same sort of stuff I read in the past, I could have read the whole book just on the summaries, in an evening!
