Momonoi turned out to be a real prick. Some new characters got introduced in this volume. The torture of Renko seemed a bit too much. Both Hojumi and Renko will probably suffer a lot more in the next volume.
And also, Shuri is trying to take back Suo city. He may have another encounter with Sarasa soon..who knows.

I think Hozumi might be my second favorite character in this series. A true artist at heart. This quote really makes me think of the constant militarization of the Philippine government as response to various issues. Like during the pandemic, or sending spawns of military inside universities, or the extra judicial killings during the war on drugs, etc. It makes you really question authority. Why do they like killing so much? It takes great courage for artists like Hozumi to stand up in front of these powerful men and be the voice of the unheard, they bare their soul for the world to see in order to dismantle the system, it's a truly wonderful thing to have artists like them in this world. This manga just keeps getting more exciting and unpredictable. But the one thing I really love is how the politics in this series just keeps blowing me away. I love how the author made it central to the plot and the romance just comes second. I expect to keep getting surprised as the story unfolds.

Happy to see Shinbashi back with Sarasa. I love that little owl so much.

Renko and Hozumi's plotline is interesting and I'm intrigued to see where it goes. Even though Hozumi's not part of the royal family, his father is an important figure and I love the idea of someone from that life being against it and willingly rebelling and hopefully joining Sarasa in some way in the next volume.

I’m about halfway through Basara, this counts for volume 1-13. Yall I’m obsessed like fucking obsessed and so invested in these characters and this story so far. Can clearly see this being in my top Manga series when I reach the end. Only halfway through and it’s so fucking good!

Sarasa and Team and Shuri and Nakijin head into Suou to disrupt the new ruler's plans from attacking Tatara's army on Sakura Island and reclaiming the land his rule.

Nah inilah jadinya kalau seseorang seperti saya mementingkan cover diatas segalanya. Saya jadi nggak jeli dengan isi dari komik yang panjangnya ada 27 volume ini.

Setelah mencicipi volume 1, bisa dibayangkan betapa besarnya penyesalan sekarang karena baru aja tau kalo komik ini SANGAT BAGUS.

Sasara yang berubah dengan kesadaran sendiri menjadi Tatara, seorang perempuan berumur 16 tahun yang menguatkan diri dengan tujuan membalaskan dendam desanya yang hancur dan kakak serta ayahnya yang mati diakibatkan serangan dari Raja Merah. Sasara hanya bisa menjadi dirinya sendiri saat ia berada di Onsen yang kemudia benar benar tertarik dengan seorang pemuda humoris tapi juga kharismatik dan seenaknya sendiri bernama Shuri. Tipikal kan? Nggak ada yang aneh dari jalan cerita ini. kecuali kalau Shuri ini adalah sang Raja Merah.

Hebatnya lagi yang membuatku sangat sangat kagum, Yumi Tamura menguatkan ikatan mereka tanpa terburu-buru dan alur yang keren, bisa dibuktikan dengan terbongkarnya identitas Shuri sang Raja Merah di buku ke-5.

Tidak perlu ragu lagi, inilah lambang dari cover not worth anything. :D

いやね。この話のクライマックスもうすぐくるのだ。心の準備は足りない。ターロちゃんの話は辛かった。真実を守れために死ぬの覚悟を尊敬する。アゲハはターロちゃんの首を見つける時に泣いた。

アゲハは悲劇なキャラ。いつも人の悪さを受けている。

あとの話あまり好きじゃなかった。女はもう遠くの昔から世界の劇場に立った。千手姫のように千草のようによい子供を育って世界を変わった。歴史の大物は必ず後ろに支えてるの女がいた。この時代は確かに女たちが前に立てるになったけどそれは昔と違さはただ位地だけ。
