Honestly, I was more than a little disappointed that Renko and Hozumi both died. I kind of get it from a "the cast is getting too big" standpoint, but at the same time, I'm not sure I get the purpose of their deaths.

As this series goes on, I appreciate how the author gets a little more gritty and realistic with the events of the plot. Not everything will be easy or all sunshine and rainbows. I loved seeing how, after Sarasa/Tatara ordered the water supply to Suo City to be attacked, it affected the regular people of the city, thus turning her into the person she set out to kill.

Also, are we finally going to see Sarasa and Shuri find out who the other is next volume?? Can't wait to find out.

Un tome vraiment bon, l'étau se ressert entre Tatara et le roi Rouge et la guerre commence pour de bon. Tatara prend conscience qu'on ne peut pas faire de guerre sans verser le sang ni plaire à tout le monde. Vraiment intéressant, qu'une hâte que Shuri et Sarasa apprennent la vérité sur leur identité.

Do they know each other's identities yet? Has Sarasa suspected yet?

Dr. Bansho mentioned to Nagi in passing asking why they're fighting each other, "They used to swim together." And Asagi comes in to interrupt it. He also saved her when Asho caught up. In heartbreak, she departs from her crew and chance meeting him in a sandstrom.

4 stars. More build-up with story and character development. There was a little frustration with side characters, but it makes sense with the story. I'm excited for volume 15.

Nah inilah jadinya kalau seseorang seperti saya mementingkan cover diatas segalanya. Saya jadi nggak jeli dengan isi dari komik yang panjangnya ada 27 volume ini.

Setelah mencicipi volume 1, bisa dibayangkan betapa besarnya penyesalan sekarang karena baru aja tau kalo komik ini SANGAT BAGUS.

Sasara yang berubah dengan kesadaran sendiri menjadi Tatara, seorang perempuan berumur 16 tahun yang menguatkan diri dengan tujuan membalaskan dendam desanya yang hancur dan kakak serta ayahnya yang mati diakibatkan serangan dari Raja Merah. Sasara hanya bisa menjadi dirinya sendiri saat ia berada di Onsen yang kemudia benar benar tertarik dengan seorang pemuda humoris tapi juga kharismatik dan seenaknya sendiri bernama Shuri. Tipikal kan? Nggak ada yang aneh dari jalan cerita ini. kecuali kalau Shuri ini adalah sang Raja Merah.

Hebatnya lagi yang membuatku sangat sangat kagum, Yumi Tamura menguatkan ikatan mereka tanpa terburu-buru dan alur yang keren, bisa dibuktikan dengan terbongkarnya identitas Shuri sang Raja Merah di buku ke-5.

Tidak perlu ragu lagi, inilah lambang dari cover not worth anything. :D

この巻は素晴らしかった。最高だった。そして今まで一番読みにくかった。

あと話はすごく面白かった。全然分からなかったけど分かりたかった。エッセイの作者が「裏読み」の推論事を書いた。私もそういうこと大好き。でも私の文化は日本文化じゃないから日本のシンボルはよく分からない。もう十年ぐらい漫画を読んで和歌を習ってようやく花の象徴を手に入れた。四要素の事も大体分かる、けど色に意味あるの？！？！日本のシンボル文化て深い！深すぎ！英語の色も意味あるけど七つぐらいしかない。赤は愛と怒り。緑は嫉妬。青は悲しさ。白は純粋。黒は死。はい。お終い。赤と薄赤は違いない。緑と濃い緑のも違いない、だいたい。でも日本語の赤の色の言葉もいっぱいあってそれぞれ意味持つの？こういうこと好きだけど習うのはどんなぐらいかかるの？！人生？！

この巻を読んでようやく田村先生のメインテーマを捕まえた。ちょっとビックリした、まるで東部と西部の哲学がページ上で戦っているのようだった。最初このシリーズを読んでずっと分からにない事あった。なぜこの人たちは自分のために立てない？なぜこの人達はいつもいつも誰かを責任を持たせている？朱雀の村の皆はそうだった。悪い人の三人兄弟を従った。村人は全員その三人の悪さを分かっていた。でも誰も逆らいなかった。なぜ？ただ三人だけ。村人は百人ぐらいいたけど誰も逆らわなかった。なぜ？　このテーマは繰り返して繰り返して現れた。角っじいさえ更紗に責任押した。何で自分でその責任を持ってなかった？その意志が全然分からない。自分の思いと自分の道徳を守れなかったら誰に押したり権利がない。それが田村のテーマ。朱里が戦場の上で叫んだセリフがバサラの概要。「己できめる」「己で考え」「己で選び」「己の意志で判断で誇りをもって己のために生きよ」誰もそな個人権利と受任を譲らないで。他の人に責任を押さないで自分に持って生きて。素晴らしいメッセージ。まるで田村さんはアダムスミスを読んだみたい。

朱里のメセージは泣かせた。絵ではなく。腕をなくしてではなく。言葉で魂を触れた。
