This sweet, old-fashioned tale may at first seem to have little appeal to today's children, but with its repeated sound effects, and bright cheery illustrations, I swear this book should easily replace all the other bus-related literature in your child's nightly read-fest.
It is always bittersweet to read children's books that are now dated due to technology advancement. The upside is getting to have a conversation with my preschooler about how we no longer use coins to pay bus fare.
