Six Ways From Sunday

Rate this book
From the steamy sauna start to the rain-cooled ending Six Ways From Sunday will leave you wanting more. This is not a sugar-coated tale of a handsome millionaire and his virginal prima donna. This is an intimate journey into the lives of 8 submissive women and the men they serve. Join the author for a visceral ride into the exciting realm of power exchange, where 8 women's darkest desires are brought into the light. Six Ways From Sunday is a compilation of erotic short stories. Sauna- Find out what happens when two attractive strangers meet in a co-ed sauna at the health club. The steam isn't the ONLY thing that is too hot to handle. Her Punishment- Mia is intent on pleasing her Master, but her disobedience will earn her a punishment that she won't soon forget. Waiting For Him To Arrive- He is the very epitome of dominant masculinity & he may know her body better than she does. He is flying in to see her tonight. She will be both surprised & aroused by the things he asks her to do while she is waiting for him to arrive. Sara's First Trip to the Sex Toy Shop- Sara is visiting a sex toy shop for her first sex toy but when she is invited into the dungeon by Mistress Lilith she realizes that her fantasy of being dominated is about to come true. Top From The Bottom- Kristen is a good employee in almost every way. It will take all of her submissive & feminine wiles to find a way to get her handsome (but Vanilla) boss, James, to dominate her. Will she be able to persuade him to release the beast she knows is inside? The Pirate- Two virtual strangers share a platonic online friendship. Will an erotic online encounter involving a pirate rape fantasy turn up the heat between them? Why Are You Here?- Join the couple from 'The Pirate' and find out what happens when they collide for the first time in real life. The Storm- The raw power and electricity of an impending storm parallels an escalating BDSM-scene between a man & a woman in a long term relationship. Take Me With You- A touching expression of the devotion of one submissive woman to her dominant partner. This book contains adult themes and situations of a sexual nature and is intended for adults only.

No matter who you are, you're likely to find at least one of the short stories in Six Ways From Sunday enticing. I think most people will find a story that they enjoy because it's about something they tried and liked, or a story about something they've fantasized about, but never tried. Some of the stories might even give you ideas to add to your sexual "bucket list"! My particular favorite is The Storm because this author has a way of making you feel as if you are "there", living the scene with the characters.
Aside from the variety of stories and how nicely this erotica is written, I also liked how short each of the stories are (most are around 6 or 9 pages long); so if you've got a short attention span or if one particular story isn't quite doing it for you, you won't have to go long before you've got a new fantasy to dive into. Each story gives you just enough details about the characters for you to latch on to them, without creating an expansive universe around them.
These stories also make great "adult bedtime stories" for you and your lover to share! Six Ways From Sunday is a book of quickies that you can keep in your bedside drawer, with your favorite stories marked for when you need a little inspiration or want to act a few of them out with someone special. If the "Fifty Shades" trilogy enticed you, but left you wanting, "Six Ways" is what you need to take it to the next level!

I received this book as a first reads book and I am saddened to say that my 6 month old puppy decided to eat it after I was only three stories in. :-(

However, that being said, I have to admit that what I read was better than expected. This was my first book in this genre and I had decided to enter to win it on a whim, on the thought that I can't say it's not my style of book if I've never read one before. While I can now confidently say that it's not my style of literature, I can say that the author has a talent for what she writes.

First, I was really touched by the fact that the author took the time to add a card to the package. It made it more personal and I really liked that. Whenever I read a book, I'm always looking for that sense of the author and the note helped me feel more connected to the book itself.

Even though I was only halfway through when the book was demolished, I can say that the writing was fluid and moving. The stories I managed to read allowed the reader to feel as if they were there. The detail was great, but not overwhelming. The stories are short, so the author did not waste time describing unnecessary things, like you would see in a full length novel. The point of the stories is the emotion and the physical interaction and the author manages to convey that in the fact that she does not go into too much detail.

I would highly recommend this book of short stories to any reader of this genre.

imaginative and exciting read!
the author has a great ability to place her readers in a wide array of mental states. as you read through the stories; fear, depression, nervousness, joy, anger, euphoria, and countless other emotions will be thrust upon you...
if you look beyond the erotic aspect of these stories things like drama, horror, and even comedy will be noticed!
it is nice to see that kind of depth in this or any other genre.
throw in some well written characters and a strong aspect of giving the reader a wonderful visual scope of the scenery, and you have this...
am i looking forward to reading more?
yes please!

I love this book so much. When you read the book it's like your there in the book. I tell everyone about this book and tell them they need to read it. I wouldn't change one thing about six way from Sundays. Once you start to read it you don't want to put it down or take a break from it. I really recommend reading six ways from Sunday.

This is a hot book. It was hard to put it down. I like the bdsm but I think some parts went a little extreme. Some spanking in the bedroom is one thing but slapping someone in the face is just not my cup of tea. I will definitely tell others about it and have them read it but I will warn them it gets a little too much in some places.
