The story continues in this second volume and I enjoyed it probably equally as much as the first. It starts off great, lots of fun action with a great chapter at Ken’s wedding/reception. Things slowed down a bit towards the middle but still remained interesting. Strong focus in this collection on Cammy & also Ryu’s training quest to battle Akuma. All in all, really good stuff.
I really appreciated the focus on Master Gen as well as the foreshadowing of Ryu's conflictions; between good and morality versus success and vengeance.
This one is also enjoyable like the first one. So, I don't repeat myself, you may refer to my review of 'Street Fighter Classic Volume One: Hadoken' to know my sentiments about this set of TPBs.
Continues the story from Volume 1. Street Fighter was never known for it's epic story, it was really just an excuse for the characters to fight one another. That being said the comic does manage to tell a decent story, and gives you quite a bit of backstory for all the characters. I had previously read the comics when they were coming out years ago, so it's fun to go back and check them out. Probably only interesting for fans of the game.
