This is my book, so I’m only going to say that I enjoyed writing this and it’s my first attempt at an ensemble cast, which was super fun. It’s also currently with producers for consideration to adapt and develop into a TV series.
The Marked is a YA fantasy series and follows a teenage delinquent who gets admitted into an academy where the goal of the academy is to unlock the past and the magical abilities of the students. The interesting thing is that they all share strange birthmarks that somehow bind them together. Want to find out more then make sure to read this book! This had me captivated from the beginning and I could not stop turning the pages. The author wrote this well and every character in this one was great. I loved how this ended on a cliffhanger and can't wait to read the second book in this series. This is one that I highly enjoyed and would recommend to any young adult or to any reader who likes fantasy. Thank you to the author for this read in exchange of my honest review of The Marked.
