I love reading mini biographies such as this to easily learn about a scientist and often their time in history. This picture book biography on Pasteur is done very well, with interesting memorable details about a man who contributed an astonishing amount to science and overall improved life expectancy.

This was a very general biography of the life of Louis Pasteur. This would be a great read for elementary schoolers, but is to vague and general for anyone who has passed the 6th grade.
