I read these books at a time in my life that I needed that extra place to go and find a nurturing moment with the simple things. During a cold winter season, this trilogy helped remove me from the everyday upset I was experiencing and moved me to a place of peace, comfort, and hope. Although I am not a fan of romance novels, Debbie Macomber out did herself when she wrote these books. I'm so thankful I let the kid in myself come out and jump into the fiction of world of these three mischevious Angels.
...done reading "The Trouble with Angels" just this morning! very nice trilogy of how angels did their assignments to grant all the prayer requests of Catherine for her grandson, Karen Woods for her mother Maureen and Paul Morris for himself and children from the City of Angels. Angels Shirley, Goodness and Mercy did their miracles very well. I think i want them to be my angels too... I love the story of Ted Griffin and Joy Palmer, that was assigned to prayer ambassador Mercy. I like the way she did her shenanigans for the two to have a great love story and to fulfill the prayer request of Catherine! A roller coaster love story but thank God for sending Mercy to both of them. This is the story of love, love, love and true love! Leanings in life and love that was taught to me by each characters and angels!
...This give me more faith and make me believe that each of us have our own angels and everything happens really for a reason. We just need to hold on to our faith and not get tired of praying and praying!
...PRAYER is the KEY to all that we desire! We just need to pray and work hard for it and think and believe that there are angels sent from above by GOD who are very willing to help us and fulfill everything!
I really enjoyed this compilation of stories by Debbie Macomber. I enjoyed reading about the angels' from their early days in training to their growing capabilities to handle prayer requests.
I enjoyed reading about the diverse group of characters and their relationships, finding love, forgiving, and discovering peace.
Overall, this series of stories will bring a smile to your face and restore your belief in prayer.
I just finished reading "The trouble with Angels" Really great book! It really got me into the mood of wanting to help others. Looking forward to reading those other books that are listed with this one, as soon as I find them.
This large book contains two of the same stories that are in Angels Everywhere, plus one more. I really like the story called The Trouble with Angels. Seems like it was better written with a more detailed plot and characcters with real depth.
How can you not love a Debbie Macomber book with three good-hearted, lively, mischievious match-making angels named Shirley, Goodness and Mercy? Pure fun, romance and heart - times three!
