What would you do to hold on to the life you love? How far would you go to finally hold that which you covet the most but has always eluded you? Are the lines between right & wrong as clearly defined as we would like to believe or are they more blurred than we would ever admit?
Either blind hope or the fear of losing what they hold dear can drive men to terrible, deadly extremes. Hector's selfish desires & Lenox's biggest fear makes them both pawns in a dangerous game that puts them on the same path of blood & violence. In the middle of lies, betrayal & cold-blooded deceit, Jahaira's life hangs precariously in the balance.
There will be pain, there will be suffering & there will be punishment but, will there be redemption?
Keith Kareem Williams is the author of over 20 books & 7 screenplays. He still resides in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York where he delicately balances his time between his responsibilities as a single father as well as the challenges of being a full-time author. “In interviews, one of the most difficult questions I’ve been asked is, ‘What genre are your novels?’ because honestly, I never write with any particular style in mind. I enjoy blending styles and mashing different genres together in interesting ways. Basically, I pen whatever is in my heart and soul. However, if I had to describe my style I would use musical terms and say that I write Urban, Hip-Hop, fiction with the rhythm of Reggae that crashed into Heavy Metal and then began to bleed Neo Soul. I write Alternative Urban Fiction.” One of the things I'm most proud of is how my children look at me with pride because I'm accomplishing my goals and doing the things I set out to do with my career. They recognize and respect my passion. I write constantly and I already have the titles & plots lined up for my next 92 novels. This is what I do and I'm just trying to let the rest of the world know this. My ambition is to become as legendary as some of the writers I admire. I believe that a GOOD writer pulls you into their story. A GREAT writer makes the world around you fall away as you read. The LEGENDARY writers tell stories that become a part of you and linger long after you've read the last line of the last chapter. It was once said that, the pen is mightier than the sword. I say to my fellow AUTHORS: Let's advance our craft until it's mightier than guns, grenades, bullets & nuclear bombs. If not, then put your pen down and fall back. Those of us who are serious about this will run you over as if we were riding in tanks.” – Keith Kareem Williams
Another passion-filled emotional read from Keith Kareem Williams! The characters were well developed and you could feel their emotions. If this is a series, I'm on to the next book!
Lenox has secrets and because of them it may cost him his life. I love how this story goes deeper and deeper into a family that the reader does not see any of the surprises that pop up.
I have enjoyed every book by Williams but he managed to really surprise me with the storyline, character development, and the level of suspense he maintained throughout. I had no idea where things were headed and even when I had any inkling at all Williams managed to masterfully turn those assumptions on their heads. I was not disappointed that I spent several hours reading this one from cover to cover! I'm an even bigger fan now. I feel this was no easy tale to tell, however Williams managed to do it as if he'd done it many times before. This book is extraordinarily good! I don't want to reveal too much so I'll just say get the book. You will want MORE! from this author!!!
This was a great book. The story and the characters were well developed. I liked the interaction of Hector and the mother. The ending was very surprising, and the last 20 pages will have you rushing to find out what's going to happen next.
The author, Mr. Williams, is very good at crafting a story that hits you in all directions. He understands the flow of a story to help the reader move through the pages seamlessly. Because of the way this story was constructed, the readers questions are always answered; giving the reader a feeling of completeness and accomplishment in the end-- not to say that the story is done because the way it ends you are certain there is a part 2.
Jahaira hails from a dysfunctional family and hasn't introduced her boyfriend Lenox of two years to them for that reason.Lenox is a blue collar guy who wonders why he hasn't met his girlfriends parents yet. When a chance meeting occurs between Lenox and Jahaira's father, the insanity ensues and the fireworks begin.Wow!!! what a well written novel. This book contained everything I love in a story suspense, intrigue and a unique story line.Drama from the beginning to the last page, can't wait to see how it all unfolds in part 2.Another 5 star banger from this author.Great Job Keith.
I have read other works by this author and enjoyed them for their storyline but it was something about this book that drew me in from page 1. The characters were well developed and showed growth through the book. I enjoyed how the author wove his tale with realism and magic. The whole book read like a movie in my mind. The story was well crafted and thought out. I would definitely recommend this book but be prepared to lose blocks of time.
This was my first read from this author and it was a pretty good one. It took me a minute to become invested in what was going on, and it started to feel a little long, but it definitely picked up, and wasn't particularly predictable. Carmen was a piece of work. I may pick up the sequel at a later date.
This is my first time reading this author’s work and I was pleasantly surprised . It began like any other normal story and then bam 💥 there was nothing normal about this storyline. I read with great anticipation and wasn’t disappointed at all . I can’t wait for the sequel. I strongly recommend this 🔥.
Review for War Angles by Keith Kareem Williams You know, I wasn't very cognizant of what to expect by looking at the cover of War Angels. I had seen it on FB plenty of times, read some excerpts and knew a little about the Author. I eventually asked Keith Kareem Williams to be a guest on The Honey Hour (www.DFWiradio.com) and he obliged. He was a wonderful guest, answering all my questions with a thorough sense of why I was asking them. Needless to say, it was one of the best interviews I have ever done. I knew I had to read what this masterful conversationalist had to say, so I went to http://www.amazon.com/War-Angel-ebook... & purchased the e-Book for my kindle @ $4.99, and then my reading life took a turn.
I wanted to read War Angels because I support Indie Authors, like myself and because he had given me an hour of his life. I didn’t expect to be entranced by the storyline, characters, hidden secrets or overall thought process it took to come up with a story like this.
The story starts off with an eruption of excitement and danger; I didn’t know why, which kept me glued to the book. This was the first book I had ever read on my phone (kindle app) and I kept it close to me so I could sneak in a chapter or two when I wasn’t chasing my two year old around the house or writing.
Lenox, ok, his name is so fitting. He is one of the main characters and delivers in more ways than you can imagine. War Angels is not a total Erotica book, there are erotic parts but they don’t take you away from the basis of the story, which is love, lies, deceit, danger, redemption & a little something you're not expecting ( I don't want to give it away).
War Angels by Keith Kareem Williams will leave you gasping for air and only hoping to find it at the end of the book. I am optimistic there will be a part 2 because there is an abundance of more to give.
Love is supposed to be great, grand even but sometimes it is even stressful. Family even adds an additional component that can make you a little leery but you continue to press on in the name of love. But what happens when your love is tested and you don't know which way you should proceed? Should you go with love or should you tempt fate?
Jahaira Ruiz was the daughter of Caesar Ruiz and she was the apple of her father's eye. She could do nothing wrong in her father's eyes. Jahaira wishes that she felt the same about her father. Although Jahaira loves her father deeply he has disappointed her so much, she just doesn't look at him the same. It is almost like she pities her father. When Caesar died suddenly Jahaira feels bad that she has treated her father so poorly, after all he was her father.
Lenox is Jahaira's boyfriend and have been for two years. They are in love. Lenox would love to take it to the next level with Jahaira but he has never met anyone from Jahaira's family or her friends for that matter. This is an issue for him but is it an issue that is big enough to cause problems for him and Jahaira or can he let this pass?
Hector works for Caesar and is a long time family friend. Hector feels like he should have more standing with Jahaira in her life but Jahaira only looks at him like a brother. Hector wants more and is willing to do whatever he has to do to get that across to Jahaira but will that work to get Lenox out of the picture or will Hector just be out in the cold.
War Angel is an action/thriller by Keith Kareem Williams. This novel has a lot of suspense, action and drama and will keep you guessing until the end of the book. I really didn't know what was going to happen, sometimes you can predict what is coming but not in this novel. I appreciate the fresh approach and the on the edge of your seat writing that this story has. I have read stories from Williams before and I will be back for more.
Whoaaaaaaa! Let me first say I didn't really know what to expect from this book, very surprised, everyone was talking about it, author was daring anyone to try something new, so I did. After reading a few of his other titles I felt I could be safe and step out the box. Here is were the ride began to take unexpected turns, Mr. Williams doesn't confine himself to a particular genre, in this title he combines a few different genres; Love story/street lit-urban/paranormal, all intermingled for all to enjoy.
It's obvious that Lenox and Jahaira are in love and the bond is strong, but it appears that both start out with some skeletons in the closet, Lenox with his childhood secrets and Jahaira with her non-conventional/dark family, which she does everything in her power to keep Lenox from, which is why he was drawn to know more. His curiosity landed him world no normal person could think existed. After meeting Jahaira's father is when Lenox and Jahaira relationship was put to the test, as always evil will always seek to destroy good, Love in this case was a helpful weapon to overcome all the evil that threaten to consume them. (I kept saying tell her, please, its going to get worst.) You must meet the rest of the family, they play specific roles.
I have to admit this book was different from what I expected, but at the same time I'm fascinated with the author's imagination. This author is very confident with his writing and is a mastermind with his pen. I am of sound mind to recommend and encourage you to check this out and try something different. It will have you on edge trying to figure out what's next.
Keith Kareem Williams..You Wow'd me with this one.
