He promised a life that another wouldn’t… but was it worth it in the end?

He was her friend, her best friend, and they say the best loves grow out of friendship, but is love really enough? What happens when the “inner silence” becomes too much to bear?

As Quinn sits in a vast room full of His "friends," she finds herself more alone than ever. While playing the role of the devoted girlfriend, and despising every second of it, she finds herself thinking back on a life not that far from reach.

Would this emotional trip down memory lane make her realize that she could never lose the one who had always loved her? Or would it make her desire to feel the flutter once again and chase the love that was never really hers?

For someone that doesn't have any children, I feel as if I know what it will some day (hopefully) be like. My novels have become my kids. I think about them all day long. I wonder how they are doing out there in the world. How are they being perceived? Are they being judged fairly? Are they being welcomed and accepted? But no matter what anyone else thinks, I love them with all my heart.

I am a high school English teacher; therefore, I get to teach and and discuss literature and writing all day long and it truly is rewarding. But nothing will ever be as rewarding as the feeling I get when I finish a page, a chapter, a novel of my own creation.

I loved this book! The characters in Silent Flutter are highly relatable and intriguing. I wanted to know more about each of them instantly.
Quinn is trying to find out who she is, what it means to find love, and if loves alone is enough. She is at a constant battle between her morally, intact conscious and the wild, carefree, temptress she enjoys being. As she goes through college and starts her career she finds herself questioning the life she chose. How does a relationship lose it's luster? Should the butterflies last forever? How long can you live lonely? When should you put your happiness first?
I can't wait to see where Quinn's life will take her. I'm looking forward to October and the second book in Lacey Ellmoore's Butterfly Series, Butterflies Commence.
