Jennifer has written a well-rounded erotic ménage romance novella. This story has a damaged fire-fighter hero, well, 3 damaged fire-fighter heroes actually.

But it is Ashur's torture and pain that pulls you in from the first few pages of the story and it is him that our heroine, Aphrodite, and the other two, Hugh and Kier have to seduce before they can all heal from the trauma they experienced and have a happy ending.

What surprised and warmed my heart most, outside of the intensely emotional story, was that Aphrodite herself was also in emotional pain. It made it easy for me to connect with her as a character because she truly understood what the men were going through.

Overall, this is an awesome erotic read with a ménage a quartre storyline that actually worked for me.

Appropriate title, love the cover and I think the story achieved what it set out to; the whole "sexual healing" and Aphrodite getting her groove back. Yay!

Over all, I enjoyed the relationship between Aphrodite and her sons, their shared sense of each other gave a "bigger picture" so it wasn't just about her getting it on with three hot firey's.
Before you get all "hu whaaa?", her son's set her up with three soul damaged men, there is no incest involved... unless you count voyeurism. I don't think it counts when the voyeurs are gods even if it's their mom they are watching.

Now for the cray-cray:
Yes, I mentioned imagining a sexy chicken dance. Why? Well, do it! Imagine a person doing the chicken dance and making it sexy. Incongruent, right? That's how the sex depicted feels. Not at all because three guy's and a girl is awkward, it's just the way it's written made me feel in equal parts turned on and humored. The language, a combination of flowery and crass.
I ended up feeling quite the naughty-naughty school girl in Mythology class!

So yes, I liked it. The series is intriguing in it's Mythology as well as not so common pairings.

Very smexy, naughty short story combining Greek Mythology and modern day mortals. Definitely a quick fun read.

Immortal Seduction is book 4 in the Gods of Love series. The focus this time around is on Aphrodite, goddess of love and desire. The story is also a stand alone as is the entire series which is really nice. You can pick and choose which God you want and not be lost.

Like any good erotic novella, I always need a little story line to go along with the smexy and the author definitely delivers. The prologue is exactly what you get. A story of healing and rediscovering happiness.

Quick moving, nice flow, really good characterization, and the plot was nicely developed too. The smexy was smoldering and engaging. There is MMF going on and that was very nicely done without hitting any of my triggers.

Good erotic short story. I will be checking out the rest of the series.

In this stunning sequel of the Gods of Love series, Aphrodite herself has come to the human world and its a mixture of amusing and sexy. The men she chooses resonate with me on a deep level as they consider themselves broken after an incident that leaves a friend lost and one of them permanently wounded.

One of the reasons I like this series so much is, even though they all connect, each is a standalone story. You can read them in any order you like without missing the overall plot line or feeling lost. And the sex...whew. What can I say about it that wouldn't fall short of being an accurate description?

As always, Jennifer Lynne weaves a sexy tale of sex, gods, and lust turned love. I'm so looking forward to the next book.

This book is an erotic paranormal MFMM menage. It's also the fourth novella in a series entitled, Gods of love. I did not read the previous books, but I feel that I was able to follow it without having read the previous title. The book was about 90 pages and the author does a great job of describing different views of mythology and defining her concept of mythology as it is used in her books. This book explores the very emotional subject of losing someone that you love and explores how people deal with the pain, guilt, sorrow, and fear of future losses. The hot guys and steamy romance make a great counter to the rather serious and dark aspects of the book.

The fourth book in the Gods of Love series is a fast, sexy and heartfelt read.

Aphrodite’s sons set out to help their mother rediscover love and they set her up with three men that need help with their emotional turmoil as well.

The author conveys the emotions of all the characters with a precision that leaves the reader able to completely relate to them. This unique twist on the Greek Gods is well written and inspires the imagination to look beyond the surface.

The sex scenes are well written and tastefully done while still being hot, steamy very naughty. The plot flows smoothly through this emotional rediscovery through passion by all the characters. I haven’t read the other novellas in this series yet, but I will definitely be reading them now.

Although this is the fourth book in the series it isn’t really necessary to read the first three. It would make it more enjoyable. This is a very steamy and passionate erotic novella with a wonderful story to go along with it. I love the fact that Aphrodite’s sons cared enough to help her heal. I also loved the guys they chose to do it. On top of some seriously great sex there was emotions and healing for all involved. I should mention there is some m/m action and I enjoyed that as well. Although a quick read it flowed nicely and felt complete. Mixed in with all this there’s humor that lightly threads itself through the story.

Over all it’s a hot and sexy read with enough depth to keep me engaged in the story.

Overall, this was a well-written sexy short. It is the 4th book of the series but I did not feel like I was missing anything. A nice stand alone with the very sexy seduction of three firefighters by a goddess.

I really liked that there was a story backing the three men and that they were not all perfect. They needed the goddess as much as she needed them.

I enjoyed Ms. Lynne's work and would read more from this author.

Jennifer Lynne's Gods of Love series continues with mom, the goddess Aphrodite, feeling as if she's lost that loving feeling after the death of her love long ago. Her sons have found happiness and love in the mortal world and after much searching have found just the man to make her feel powerful again....if only he weren't so grief stricken and sworn off sex in honor of the one he lost. Aphrodite will have to use any means necessary to help him heal and bring him back to the lovers still here. Along the way she learns surprising things about humans, and herself, and the difference between lust and love in a super steamy story ranging from m/f, m/m, and ménage couplings.

Ashur has always been the responsibility one even as a child. People have looked up to him and tried to emulate him has he's a formidable presence. Young firefighter Aiden in fact chose his career because of his adoration for Ashur and it's his death that drives Ashur to a low point of darkness and inner turmoil. Ashur hates himself for his one moment of perceived irresponsibility and tortures himself by shutting himself off from happiness. Even his fellow firefighters, and lovers, are unable to help him as they're dealing with their own grief. Hugh has always been the calming influence but is left frustrated by constantly being turned away while Kieran has sought refuge in a bottle and willing bedmates. Their once tight and loving group has been torn asunder. Aphrodite uses her mythical abilities to remind Ash that happiness still exists and that in the arms of loved ones he can honor what Aiden and they all once had and can still have. They finally accept their grief and are much stronger because of Aphrodite's embrace.

Ms. Lynne nicely combines magical abilities with reality in a story where the men easily accept the special nature and abilities of Aphrodite unquestioningly. The sexual interludes morph from sensual to intense in a fast build-up that surprisingly allows the hidden grief to come through. The male characters were appealing but I would've loved to have a more in-depth view of them as these strong yet silent types, with scars both inside and out, are a particular favorite of mine. Aphrodite on the other hand, with her mythical nature, was hard to relate to. The issues she was going through paled in comparison to that of Ashur and the boys after all. Though the ending felt rushed with only a hint of future happiness I still found this another satisfying installment in Ms. Lynne's mythological series and look forward to the next story in this unique series.

REVIEW:
Immortal Seduction
Gods of Love Book 4
By. Jennifer Lynne

Jennifer Lynne's Gods of Love series, is one of my favorite series out right now. The emotions, and feelings that come from her characters always feel real. She's very good at blending sensuality, emotions, and interesting characters. Immortal Seduction had that and more.

In this installment of Gods of Love the focus is on Aphrodite. Her sons having found real love, and happiness in the mortal world, want the same for their mother. They want her to rediscover what it's like to love, and have her own happiness. The sons have a plan, and they execute it.

They set their mother up with three men that they hand picked themselves. These men, are suffering from the same if not more pain then Aphrodite is. She will have to do everything she can to heal these men, and in turn heal herself.

I really enjoyed Aphrodite's story. I could feel her pain, and was really looking forward to seeing her find happiness. The story was sexy, emotional, and passionate. Jennifer Lynne always does an excellent job of conveying all her characters emotions, and she didn't let me down in this story.

Asher, Hugh, and Kieren were interesting, but damaged characters. Their pain, however was very real, and it was like I was feeling it for myself. They definitely needed Aphrodite as much, if not more then she needed them.

My favorite part of this book is the relationship between Aphrodite, and her sons. How wonderful is it to have sons that love, and care enough about you, to want you to have what they've found.

My only complaint is the the ending. It felt it was a tad bit rushed, and I wanted to see more of their happiness, not just the glimpse of it.

4.5 STARS/ 5

IMMORTAL SEDUCTION is the fourth novella in Jennifer Lynne’s Gods of Love series focusing on the Erotes and the goddess Aphrodite. Immortal Seduction is Aphrodite’s story and one that contains a four-way (MFMM). The God’s of Love series is intended for adult readers and not recommended for anyone under the age of eighteen.

Jennifer Lynne has brought together a storyline whereby three friends must learn to let go of the past-one that is mired in pain, guilt and the realization that life goes on when others have died.

Enter the goddess of love-Aphrodite-a woman who is missing something or someone from her life and with the help of her three sons, Aphrodite will discover that the what or who she was missing are three human friends who have suffered together with the guilt over the death of a friend and fellow firefighter.

Jennifer blends the Ancient Greek gods with a contemporary storyline whereby the gods are unprepared for the love and emotional pull of the humans that have stolen their hearts and their souls. Each story focuses on one of the sons of Aphrodite and Aphrodite herself, and each story will see a resolution to a loneliness that had been buried deep behind emotions and power of lust, love and sin for both the gods and the humans they love.

Gods of Love is an amazing series that addresses many issues including transgendered individuals to loneliness and pain. Jennifer pulls the reader into the storylines where we can feel the emotional turmoil that each of her characters brings to the pages of her series.

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author, and the first book of this series that I’ve read as well. So here are my thoughts on this book.

First of all, Aphrodite is the goddess of love and she’s drawn to men but she’s not exactly certain what to do when she’s initially rebuffed (not exactly something that happens to this particular goddess as you can imagine!).

I was charmed by the authors portrayal of the Goddess, I could imagine easily how the goddess could become so disenchanted with love and life after so many millennia being the goddess of love. She feels real pain, real heartbreak and you can feel it in the authors writing.

Though the story is short, it’s very well written and the characters are well developed.

The men that the Goddess of Love hooks up with are all suffering as well, they had lost someone they loved deeply and were damaged by that loss. Together, with the help of Aphrodite, they are able to overcome that pain.

My only issue was the ending. I felt that the ending with Aphrodite, Asher, Hugh and Kieren was really, really rushed. I felt that there could have been another 20 pages, at least, and it would have been perfect.

Immortal Seduction (Gods of Love Book 4)

After finding their own happiness and inner peace from their missions in the human world Aphrodite's sons have decided it time to return the favour and prove to Aphrodite that there is a difference between power and love.

Ashur, Kieran and Hugh have taken a long needed break to help them get away from the daily reminders of losing their best friend Aiden. The four had been inseparable but since Aiden's death Hugh is finding it harder and harder to keep them together.

Will Ashur, Kieran and Hugh really be the men to show Aphrodite how to open her heart and can Aphrodite be the one who can finally bring some peace back to the hearts of these men

I really enjoyed Immortal Seduction the storyline is well written and you will find yourself immersed in the characters. This story is erotic so if you don't mind m/m m/f/m or m/f/m/m then this is one to add to your tbr list.

Definitely not your normal paranormal book. 3 of Aphrodite's children get together to find a way to make their mom love again. Three men that have been damaged, their alpha feeling like a failure. I enjoyed this journey. Definitely worth reading.

When you are perfection and sex personified; your name is Aphrodite, Goddess of Love. But when being revered is simply not enough, how do you restore the fires of love and passion within your immortal existence?

After finding love themselves, Aphrodite challenges her erotes sons to find her love in the earthly realm. However, they advise her that love differs from lust and desire in the mortal world, and that her sensuality may not be as irresistible as she is led to believe.

Aphrodite fails to comprehend the truth in this statement, but when thrown together with three emotionally damaged men (one who is also physically wounded), she discovers that passion is more than sexual desire and that true happiness can only be obtained by giving of yourself unconditionally.

Each story in the Gods of Love series exceeds the one before, and has become a favourite on my reading list.
