Series review: Came here after binge reading ReRe Hello, Touko Minami's other manga series (which I highly recommend)! Touko Minami writes her stories like everything and nothing is happening. Her stories are not too dramatic so it doesn't get too stressful; she doesn't drag it out and she ends it in a neat fashion. I'm not a fan of love triangles/squares but I must say that Marui and Akane are some of the finest second leads I've read in a shoujo manga in recent times. I also liked Mio's circle of friends, they weren't there just for the plot, but they were really decent source of support for Mio and they had some nice chapters throughout the series. Three stars because 1) the last story arc counts as for me (which I abhor in stories), 2) it ended too abruptly, and 3) the happy ending isn't enough to make up for the angst, hurt, and pain near the end.
We're being deviated towards the side characters. I guess their character needs to grow too. Marui's way of rejecting Akane is way to harsh. She doesn't even confess.
