This book is about an 18 yr old girl named Ness that lives with her dad, and has been secluded from the outside world, other than a short trip to a store every now and then. Her dad is very protective of her so she doesn't have any friends or family she knows of. She reads romance novels as a source of entertainment and because she loves them, of course.

One day she is outside on her big property at a lake she frequently swims in, naked I might add, and runs into hot Scott! He is camping near by looking for his missing sister. They have a mutual attraction and great chemistry from the very start. They start sneaking to see each other because Ness' dad would not approve of her having a boyfriend, much less friends. Things get real steamy and hot!

Let me just say a lot happens! Ness finds out a lot about her past that is shocking and Scott is searching for his sister and that also ends up with a shocking scenario.

So, as you can see this book is full of everything a good romance book should; love, sex, suspense, humor, and sadness but more happiness and it's very heartwarming! I absolutely loved this book!! There was no cliffhanger! And, OMG, let me say, Scottie is definitely a hottie! He is on my list of favorite book boyfriends. If you love a good romance novel, you must get SweetNess!!! I highly recommend this book!!!

Ness and Scott's chance meeting is both enjoyable and tender. I loved how grown up she is even though she has lived her entire life almost like a hermitBuried secrets and memories are unearthed, family dysfunctions are uncovered, and resolutions must be found. This is a gripping, edge of your seat love story with a thrilling undercurrent.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I Really Felt bad for Ness right from the start. She is 18 and has never left her home or property without her father. For someone who has been sheltered the way Ness has been, I was glad that she wasn't completely naive (probably all the romance books she reads). I had a feeling this book was going to take a little bit of a dark turn when she was talking about her dad locking her in her room when she was six so he could go to work instead of having someone watch her. Through a lot of this book I was not a fan of Ness' father Paul. I won't ruin the story and tell you why of course. I was pretty grateful when we got to meet Scott. I felt horrible for him since he was searching for his missing twin sister. I think that his introduction to Ness was one of the better ones I've read in awhile. Definitely gave me a good chuckle. I really enjoyed the alternating POVs throughout this book never had to wonder for very long what was going through the character's minds for very long. I also enjoyed the fact that the first half of the book was spent with Ness and Scott and their budding relationship and getting to know them in all of their awkwardness. The second half was full of twists, turns, and suspense. It was almost like getting two books in one! I loved it!!! Through out most of the book we are wondering where is Scott's twin, Tonya. Who has her? Is it Ness' father? Is it someone else? Why does Ness' father want to keep her away from every other human on the planet? Not only do we get some sweet and hot love scenes but an awesome mystery! I am giving Sweet Ness 4.5 stars and since I round up 5 stars it is!

I love this book , it's is a really sweet romance!
Ness has eighteen, and has always lived with her father Paul. She didn' t have the oportunity to go to high school or college, she has always studied at home. She has no friends, she always stays home and her only companion is her father. Everything she knows she has learned from books and the knews from an I pad. She doesn't understand why her father kept her away from everyone and everything . The only addiction she has is book romance with steamy sex.
Ness lives in the woods far from the city, she never meet anyone, until one day at the lake near her house, she sees Scott.
Scott is camping in the woods for the summer to make riking and searching for his sister who disapperead two months ago and when he sees Ness naked in the lake, he gone crazy for her.
They starts to develop a beautiful friendship, they see each other everyday until Ness's dad arrive from work. They friendship grows into something more and both starts to have deep feelings for each other. And with this Ness starts her sex discover. Scott is really gentle and charming, and Ness super sweet and funny.
With the searching of his sister, Scott disvover one of Ness's dad secrets.Yes, he has more than one secret, and youcan't believe in it!
From the moment Paul discover the relationship between Scott and Ness all the secrets are revealed!
Will Scott and Ness being able to stay together? And will Scott find his sister?
Very good story with adorable characters!
Thank you, Terra , for the copy of the book!

WOW! What a fantastic story. The story starts as a story about a young woman who has lived under the protective eye of her father for the last 15 years, isolated from the world. Ness is none the wiser as far as she is concerned you can't miss what you have never had.

Ness lives her fantasies through her romance novels dreaming about her knight in shining armour sweeping her off her feet.

One day while skinny dipping in the lake on her family's property Ness meets Scott and camper who sees her while seeking new places to hike.

This begins a beautiful romance where both Ness and Scott quickly fall in love and help each other fill a void in their life. But the only problem is Ness's dad, he is so over protective.

The big turning point in the story happens when Paul, Ness's dad finds out about their relationship. This causes causes a whole chain of events that expose family secrets that Ness has been sheltered from.

Can Ness forgive her father from keeping her in the dark? Can Scott and Ness keep their relationship going? Is the past and all its dark secrets too much for Ness? Is her life ever going to be ok?

A gorgeous combination of coming of age and semi thriller storyline that will both warm your heart and keep you on the edge of your seat. A Wonderful job Ms Lorin :)

I was sent this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you :) I liked this book. The story began differently than most romance stories. Ness is sheltered by her father from the outside world. Her only knowledge of how life in society is based on the internet and romance novels. She lives deep in the woods and one day meets Scott a camper looking for his missing sister. The woods is very isolated so Ness looks up and finds this stranger looking at her naked body while she is in the lake. Well once he earns her trust they become very aquatinted with each other. Meanwhile the author adds in some suspicion about the father by insinuating that there may be a connection between Scott's missing sister and Ness's father secretive life. Especially since he refuses to tell Ness about her past and the reasons for keeping her secluded from people. The story flowed very nicely and I liked how all the connections between each became very clear as the story developed, the only thing I would change would be to take out some of the details in the beginning like when Scott is talking the details of his days. I also liked that the author chose to have the POV of both Scott and Ness especially when describing the intimate scenes.

I found this book to be more of a family bonding book than erotica. It started off great! A hidden romance and all of the secrets kept me on edge. I thought that romance would be the main highlight. There were a couple of steamy scenes, but I didn't like how aggressive Ness was. Considering she was a virgin, I found it hard to believe that she would be that confident. After about the 40% mark, it just seemed to drag on. The secrets weren't nearly as intriguing as I anticipated. Again, too much focus on family and not enough on the romance. The climax really didn't have anything to do with the relationship between Ness and Scott. Huge disappointment. There were also parts, like medical conditions, that I found to be unnecessary fillers, which made the book drag on even more. I wanted to like this book and from the way it started, I thought I would, but it ended up being just a 3 star read for me.

Spoiler:

The age difference between John and Tonya? Ewww. Not romantic at all, just creepy.

Received the book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was really sweet and an easy read. I did believe Ness and Scott loved each other, but other than all their dirty thoughts I believed there relationship was almost too high school and rushed in the beginning, but it did start to make more sense at the end. I do think they kind of brushed over what her father did to her and made it not a big deal when of course it is, but I don't think it really affected the conclusion of the story to much.
The suspense in this story was great I really didn't see what was coming in the end. I really started to get into the book when you got to learn all the secrets and were introduced to more characters other than Ness and Scott, and I loved learning more about Tonya, John, and Paul. I would also love to read a book about Tonya and John. All in all I did like this book a lot and would read other books by this author.

This is the sweetest story that I have read in a while. Ness has been brought up by her recluse father. She spends her days reading romance novels and enjoying the woods that surround her home. Scott happens upon her while she is skinny dipping in a local pond. Such begins the romance between these two.
There really isn't any angsty story line here. Her father is hiding a secret but it was nothing like what I first thought it was. Scott is looking for his missing sister and Ness is falling in love for the very first time in her sheltered life.
There is no lull in this story. The author keeps you hooked from start to finish. The supporting characters are strong and fall into place in the storyline perfectly.
I was given a copy by the author for an honest opinion. There are definitely some steamy scenes here but over all I would say this is a story of innocent love, secrets being unearthed, forgiveness and familial reconnection.

I enjoyed this book, it was a sweet love story between young sheltered Ness
description
and Scott
description
A hiking college student in search of his sister.
My favorite part of this book was their relationship. No angst just honesty and great chemistry. I did have a little trouble relating to the 18 year old heroine. I had a bit of an issue with the acceptance of Ness's father behavior, I thought is was a way bigger deal than it was made out to be. The mysteries in this book did keep me guessing and I would have actually liked a bit more from Tonya and Johns story. Overall a good read that kept the pages turning.
Thanks again to the author for the opportunity to read Sweet Ness :)

***I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review***

I enjoyed the story line of this book; Ness and Scott were fun characters and their story was cute. It was about your first kiss, your first time, and your first love. What I had issues with was the writing and tone of the story. There were a LOT of parts that had just way too much detail – I took out the water bottle, I took off the cap and drank it, put the cap back on and kept walking…one or two times find I can go with it but it happened throughout the book. I had issues with how the last 5-6 chapters went, it just didn’t seem realistic and sorry but my eyes rolled at way to many points. The story wrapped up and gave an ending to everyone that was warm and fuzzy but this won’t be on my re-read list. It is fun to see how the name of the book fits in with the storyline, and this one was done in a cute, clever way.

This book was a fun read. I enjoyed the characters and there were a few more twists and turns in the story than I expected. Ness and Scott were interesting characters. I've never really read a story that had characters like them. I liked the change. Ness is 18 and very innocent, she has not lived very much because she has been isolated. What she knows is from what she's read, and she reads a lot. Scott is up in the woods trying to take a break and look for clues since his sister has gone missing.
Scott and Ness have a connection that they start exploring right away, even with it being kept a secret from Ness's dad. The story was written well and it flowed smoothly. I wanted to know how things were going to work out and so I ended up reading it all in one sitting.

I received this book as an ARC from the author for an honest review. I am honored Terra Lorin shared with me. I have said and I will continue to say it would be great if we could do ratings, i.e using a system like 2.9. That is where I would put this book. If you are someone who likes sweet, naive writing then this book is for you. However I believe the author tried to put too much into one story. I read every type of book within the romance genre but I realized as I read this one - I do not do young, sweet or naive anymore. I never felt an emotional connection with the story or the characters. There were moments but they were few and far between. I also found the premise this book was built upon to be unrealistic (for me).

Ok thought I left a review, but maybe not, so anyway here it is. I LOVED this book, it had everything you could want in a book, love, sex drama, surprise, a few tears, and even some laughs. This book was such an easy read, because the author just pulled you in, and left you wanting to continue to read to see what was going to happen next, I know for me, to be pulled into a book, is a good thing, maybe it is relateable, maybe it just how they write it either way, this book does that. once you start you can't stop.
I LOVED LOVED loVED this book, and fell in love with the characters, even the ones you hate, you love, confusing????????????????? Read the book and it won't be.
Again honestly a great easy read, with just the right amount of sex, nothing to over the top.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.
This book was a welcome change from what I have been reading,it was a nice light read that didnt dwell too much or keep dragging up the past but it had enough suspense to keep me interested.
I enjoyed this book it was sweet and the author kept the suspense going all the way till the end. I admit there were times when I had Ness's father and his secret figured out but boy was I wrong. I was pleased that I got it right about where Scott's sister was but I didnt bank on who with, I so didnt see that one coming. All in all if your after a light read that is gonna keep you hooked till the end and isnt a lengthy read this is the book for you.

This book was a super nice change from the current type of books I have been reading. I am use to the super charged turmoil couples. This book however was a sweet romantic honest love story. I was intrigued and captivated by the book form the beginning. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the about from the write up.....The young girl keep in the woods alone with her father and a dark secret. I was like.....uh-oh should I even read it!!! Well thank God I did!!! I highly recommend it and think everyone should take the journey with these characters through their young love.

First, I'd like to thank Terra Lorin for sharing her talent and obvious love of writing with me . I really enjoyed reading Sweet Ness and I loved the sweet relationship between Ness and Scott. Ness is as innocent as they come and then meets Scott , her book boyfriend come to life. Ness and Scott's story is then also entwined with both of their families. I enjoyed the twists and turns their story takes.

I give Sweet Ness 4 stars and a big thanks to Terra for sharing.

I was one of the lucky few to be able to read this early. I loved Scott and Ness! They were so adorable together. Scott became Ness' s instant protector. The poor girl was raised in solitude with only her Dad and her books for company. When she met Scott by chance at her pond, there is an instant attraction.
There were quite a few twists and turns in the plot line that will have you say WTF, and I enjoyed every minute of it!

I really enjoyed this book. It had a very interesting story line and I never really knew what direction the author was going in which was nice for a change. It was definitely not predictable like most books I read and it had twist that I never seen coming. It had a lot going on and some steamy romance scenes and made for a great read and I am patiently waiting on the next book. I would recommend this read for any romance reader.

I REALLY LIKED NESS SHE’S A SERIOUS READER OF STEAMY ROMANCE BOOKS LIKE MYSELF. NESS IS FINALLY STARTING TO EXPERIENCE REAL LIFE FO THE FIRST TIME WITHOUT HER FATHERS INFLUENCE. SCOTT IS MORE THAN WILLING TO BE A PART OF SHOWING HER SOME OF WHAT’S SHE’S BEEN MISSING. A SWEET SOMETIMES PREDICTABLE HOT, SEXY, STEAMY, MYSTERY ROMANCE. I LOVED SCOTT AND NESS IT WAS A LITTLE SAPPY AT TIMES BUT I MEAN THAT IN A GOOD WAY. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL COVER. ;D

ARC****. Has much as I really liked this story line, I didn't feel like I was able to really get into the characters. It was a fresh approach and Ness & Scott had great chemistry. I felt like I was reading a middle/high school diary. I would start to get into it but I felt the story never got too deep. All in all, I did enjoy it.. Simple characters and simple, easy story.
