Samantha's life has never been easy. Tortured by bullies and neglected by her parents, she finds an unusual friend in Kate, a charming but erratic girl unlike anyone Sam has ever known. Together they endure the difficulties of a lonely adolescence and an unsure adulthood, but as their relationship continues to deepen Sam discovers a secret within herself that she cannot reveal, even to her only friend. As Sam struggles to come to terms with her conflicting desires her friendship with Kate flies out of control, and Sam must not only learn how to hold on to her dearest friend, but how to understand and accept her own deeply flawed existence.

THis was a surprisingly good read. I can honestly say that i did not expect the ending of the story, but the writing and the emotions, the drama, hope given or rather expected was brilliant.
This story should be read by everyone. I got so much more than expected with the book. THank you.
