His current creator owned projects include “Dragon Prince” (Top Cow) and “Samurai : Heaven and Earth” (Dark Horse).
It was a fun read as a batman read and an alien read. The twist at the end was a surprise, but then again, was it?
My only complaint is, where did batman get that sword and spear in the final fight? Bit random i thought. My last complaint is the very end, I felt for batman the way he "desposed" the facehugger was veeerrrryyyy careless.
"Batman / Aliens" is not at all a bad comic... But it isn't that great either. The premise is crazy and interesting, and the drawing ranges from great (in the first book) to just decent (in the second one). Marz story is full of topics, but it's well deployed; Edgington, on the other hand, relies on more interesting ideas, but the development of them is not as good, and it's very predictable. Overall, it's not at all bad, quite the contrary (whatever you might expect from the initial idea), but it has some potential that could have been put to a better use. So, a plain and simple "okay, it enterntained me for a while, but I doubt I'll remember more than a couple of magnificent pages from it".
