Another Nishan hero... I wonder what it'd be really like if your mate is made of mist??!!

The heroine of this book in the Ship Series within Terran Times is a force with which to be reckoned. She is a Cyborg who came to the Alliance with physical issues that have been resolved and her body enhanced. She also has sentient ship made with her own DNA as a bestie. Her backstory is nicely drawn. It is actually the injury that results from her disability that really shapes the romance and makes a special love story.

The hero alien. ALIEN. I don't want to give away his cool factors. I love him and he loves her so along with strong world building and great secondary characters, it is a real treat of a read.

This one was just an OK read for me. The dude is a shapeshifter and his normal form is a mist (wtf). The heroine used to be blind and now she has bionic vision. Not much romance or character development...
