Stuck with my Grumpy Billionaire: Madelyn is in line waiting to claim her rental car at the airport. The person in front of her is on the phone, very angry and ends up firing a few people! He then steps up to the counter and harasses the woman trying to help him. Madelyn has had enough and reams him out for the way he treats her. Things are figured out and Madelyn gets through her turn in line and is on the road. Nathan leaves after her. Thanks to her car breaking down, he reluctantly gives her a lift to her hotel. Thanks to the storm he ends up at the same hotel, and the same conference, and the adventure begins! It appears they are both looking to work with the same writer. After several meetings and conversations on a possible book/memoir, he wants to work with them together! Returning home, her boss lets slip that the info she had been armed with was based on someone stealing it, and to make things worse, her creepy boss lets slip that her father got her her job! She quits on the spot. She eventually ends up working with Nathan's company so they are able to collaborate on the project. As the story continues, we discover so many secrets, lies, deceit and shocking information about Nathan's life. We also discover something about Madelyn's relationship with her dad. The two work well together in their project, but there are twists and turns through the whole process. There is so much story ahead for you to unravel. I highly recommend this book!
I enjoyed this quick paced story. Nathan and Madelyn are polar opposites in almost every way. He appears to be cold and heartless and she is sunshine and happiness. The very first interaction shows Madelyn’s strength and how she sticks up for others.
I love the push and pull in this story and how they both try to ignore the connection they obviously have building. Every touch brings heat .. and every communication brings sass.
Nathan is struggling to find out his past instead of focusing on the here and now… will he loose a good thing before he even understands what he has?
Stuck with my Grumpy Billionaire was such a good read. I loved the chemistry of Nathan and Madelyn. Two complete strangers meet at the car rental and immediately dislike eachother. They spend some time together after that. Nathan was nice enough to pull Over and offer her a ride when she was having car trouble on her way to the hotel. The rest was history. They love to argue and they are perfect. These two are probably one of my favorite couples I've read about recently. There's a lot of suspense, heat and flirty banter and I loved everything about this book.
Nathan is the epitome of a grumpy boss, but his emotional baggage and his reaction to Madelyn is genuine right from the start. Madelyn pulls no punches and tells it as she sees it, and as hard as it is to be near this major grump she decides it would be in her best interest to go to work for him. What happens next is ... well, you'll just have to read it for yourself. If you like heat and suspense, this is the book for you.
I received an ARC copy and I am submitting a voluntary review.
This story is about strangers with strong personalities. With some suspense, secrets and opposite attracts between the main characters. The dynamic between Madelyn and Nathan was amazing! Pager turner and keeps you reading!
Nathan and Madelyn are total opposites. When she quits one job, she is offered another and the give and take between these two kept me glued to the pages to see just where their story ends. It is filled with intriguing twists and turns that made the story and enjoyable read.
