For Crave's lead guitarist Sean McKinnon, the thought of performing without his famous band during Open Mic Night was something he didn't think he could do. Will a dear friend help him through and become the 'Someday' he's always wanted? or would she be like all the rest?
As a child, multi-published author Ty Langston loved to read about dragons and knights so much that one day, her grandmother told her to "just write about them."
So she did.
From that day forward, she never left home without her pen, a notebook, and some kind of music playing in the background. Her love of reading expanded from fantasy into science fiction, and eventually into paranormal and contemporary romance.
She also writes under the pen name of Piper Reece. Ty enjoys spending time with friends and family.
This was just a glimpse into what Crave may be like. I thought it was interesting. It certainly gives you insight into two of the band members and one lady friend, who has the possibility of being more. I can't wait to see more of Sean, Ellen and Cass when Crave comes out in a couple of weeks. I'd like to find out more about Julianne, who she is and what she means to Cass. The thing that I liked about this brief glimpse into band life is that it's not always as easy as we non-band people think it may be. The nerves that Sean shows before he goes onstage, and as he thinks about doing something solo are not easy to work through, but hopefully it'll be worth it in the long run. Also, it was cool to show how someone may get an idea for a song, really liked that part.
Ok little story, would have been happy to read a little more if it wasn’t for the atrocious writing/editing. Some sentences had to be read multiple times before being able to decipher what was being said, some I still have no idea what it was trying to convey....
