But when the rugged and handsome Navy hero comes home to the Outer Banks, he finds himself entangled with the fiery Cedar Galloway, a brilliant student who shares his sense of justice. Drawn together by a series of arsons that lead to murder and a scorching passion that ignites them both, they race to solve the crimes before the arsonist can strike--and kill again. . For readers who love a little murder and suspense mixed with their burning romance!
Combustible was a good book with a different and unique storyline. The description definitely caught my interest because I am very good friends with many firemen. For this reason, I thought I would really like the POV of Boone and I did for the most part. I got thrown off a few times trying to figure out the POV and which character was speaking but once I got the hang of the writing I was set to go. I did love the mystery and romance! Overall, Combustible was a suspenseful read that I enjoyed.

I liked it. It was a mystery and a love story all in one. Boone was a marine and now became a volunteer firefighter, who wouldn't love that kind of hero. I really liked all of the characters, they were well written. I kept getting thrown off by how the story seemed to be from Boone's POV, but it was written in third person pov. We could hear his thoughts but nobody else's. It was a good story and plot with great characters. I received an ARC, in exchange for an honest review.
