When the handsome SEAL rescues them, she's more confused than ever by the array of emotions and feelings drowning her. It only makes it worse that she's falling in love with his family and friends. And maybe, him.

I found it hard not to love Margo for what she did for the girl at the start. Not many people would make that same choice. Her running into Patrick and the SEAL's was about the best things for her. It got both of them to safety and then exposed so much more. It was crazy how evil some people are and how they used hope against others to spread their evil.

Margo and Patrick frustrated me, mostly Patrick. He couldn't seem to get out of his head, that he was not ready for a woman of his own and almost ruined things before they could get started. Good thing he had his family around to get him on the right path.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty great book. I enjoyed pretty much all of the characters. Well there was a few that I didn't like. This was a book of protection, compassion, kindness, being on your guard, and falling in love. I really enjoyed Patrick and Margo story. I think the author did an amazing job with putting these characters together. Patrick he was a little hard on Margo at first. Then he finally came to his senses, and they both fell in love. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

I enjoy everyone of MS Kennedy's books and this was no exception. I won't leave spoilers but this subject is always difficult for me. I love how h had a little attitude with Patrick in the beginning , I wanted to smack him in his head ( lightly of course 😉)

The third generation of the REAPER family is now making itself seen and returning from service. The Jordan brothers are leaving the SEALs and have taken their last mission in Syria. When they find a woman and girl walking in a dangerous area and that they are American, they take them back to Norfolk. Patrick is taken with the woman and the child has a problem. The woman is also in danger and the Voodoo Guardians have another mission.
