About the author

The most important title I have in this world is being a woman, wife, and mother. I'm so happy to add author to this list as well. I tapped into this passion working in the corporate world for a major insurance company. I wasn't happy in my job and I had my boss who asked me what is something I've always wanted to do. I told him write and from that day on, I've been writing ever since.

My debut novel My Man's Best Friend was published in 2012 by Urban Book/Kensington Publishing. Each year following came My Man's Best Friend II-Damaged Relations, My Man's Best Friend III-Severing Ties, The Johnson Sisters, and Big Girl's Drama.

Signing with Anointed Inspirations Publishing (AIP) in the summer of 2017, Null & Void was my next book to be released October 2017.

Yes my books seem to be on opposite ends of the spectrum but you know what, you only live once. I can write drama. I can write enticing scenes. And I can write Christian. Whatever is placed in my heart to write, I'm going to do it.

I'm a living witness that dreams can come true. So, if there is anything you have a passion to do, go for it. Life is too short not to. For me, this is only the beginning. The sky is the limit and I'm reaching high to get where I want to be.

Stupid Is as Stupid Does

“My Man's Best Friend II: Damaged Relations” by Tresser Henderson is a hot mess, which creatively describes the dramatic relationships so common in the world today. Derrick is determined to be with the one person he cannot have, Kea, but desperately attempts by all means necessary. Jaquon learns the errors of his way and makes a strong attempt to regain something he actually misses, Kea. Zaracriah has not changed but learns the real repercussions of her actions and attempts to make everyone miserable as usual. Together, this crazy and deranged love triangle spirals out of control as everyone discovers the true meaning of true love.

Tresser Henderson has written an embellished and intriguing novel. I loved the way the author produced major twists.

Tresser Henderson delivers another page-turner! I was hooked to the story from beginning to end! I finished reading this book in one day. The characters were crazy, and so hilarious! I was laughing so hard. I loved the intense drama! There was a lot of arguing going on between the characters, as well as some fight scenes. I loved it! This book was definitely entertaining. I was so glued to the pages. The story was very well-written. The plot was very engaging! A lot of the scenes made my jaw drop, and caused my eyes to expand! I was like, "Oh snap!" I also loved the sex scenes. Very steamy! As I was reading the story, I also experienced sadness, and anger. I wanted to slap a lot of the characters, because they did some stupid things. I highly recommend this book! You will absolutely love it! I can't wait to read Tresser Henderson's next book! Don't wait! Buy your copy of this book today! Happy reading!

Omg, so capativing, suspenful, psychological damaging...Very twisted where everyone is backstabbing the other. The storyline was so emotionally intense and juicy.... Deeply creative... I can't wait to read the next book...thanks Ms. Henderson... Great job!!!!

This story picks up where the first novel ends with Derrick and Kea still thinking they are siblings and the not so stable Zacariah still as deceitful as ever! Jaquon is still trying to come back, still claiming he loves Kea and so the story goes! I found this to be as good as the first novel and once again I anticipate a sequel. Peoples very lives are being altered by deception an all I can say is when the dust settles there are going to be consequences for actions. I really enjoyed this one, Tresser weaved a good web, one that leaves you asking how far is too far, are people that crazy and what's next! Highly recommend this novel, looking forward to the next installment. I think the author will bring it to a climaxing close. Great job Tresser!

Very good book, the drama continues with Derrick still trying to convince Kia they are not related, Kia is in love with both Jaquan and Derrick, Zarcariah is doing everything she can to keep Derrick and Kia apart, Jaquan is claiming he has changed and wants Kia back. Derrick has found a new friend Trinity ( I wander how that is going to play out? ) Essence has finally been found.


I can't wait to start the next book.

You gotta be a special type of careless to have raw sex with someone you just met and don't even know their name.

What really grinds my gears with narcissistic men, is how in their begging attempt to get a woman back they stop asking for for a second chance and just assume they already got the ok which rails them back in letting them know they still have the upper hand. It's a common manipulation tactic.

I give this a 3/5 because of the once again, redundant "small world" and mental health concept.
Seems all these urban, fiction novels are using the same concepts to tell a story.

Tresser Henderson has done it again!!Another 5**** read. A page-tuner from beginning to end. If you thought PT.1 had drama. the drama in PT. 2 is awesome and I totally loved it. I couldn't put this book down and the story lines were written so great and the plots, scenes were mind blowing intense!!. Full with great sex scenes and you fill all the emotions of happiness, sadness, and anger at some of the characters. Strongly recommend this book. You'll love it and definitely worth reading. Can't wait for the more Tresser Henderson books.

Wow. I had a feeling something was up with Trinity. She's a freaking nut case, in a sense. I was mad that Kea took Jaquon back so easily. I loved her and Derrick together. & I really need to know who this person is who kidnapped Zacariaha and killed Essence. Where did Fabian come from? I wonder if Zacariaha will accept Derrick's offer to share him with Trinity. Is Kea and Jaquon and Kea relationship going to last, or will he revert back to his old ways ?

Interesting, I must say!

I found myself wanting to strangle Kea while battling with my understanding of her feelings. I was too, hoping that Jaquon would shape up, but alas it was not meant to be. (sigh) I want to know more about that comment that was made to him about his past. I guess i'll have to read part 3 to see if it is discussed.(I was going to read it anyways). Love, love, L-O-V-E me some Derrick! Great read. Can't wait to finish this saga with book Three.

This was a good file up to the original. I didn't like the ending, but it's clearly a set up for another installment. Some things were expected while others were not. Good book
