This author really breaks things down analytically in an amazing way. I found myself drawing some really great characters by using the principles in this book. It's designed as a hands on program. The book begins with a few basic head shapes that cover just about every character. It then advances into emotions and all the essentials of facial expressions. Relative sizes of body parts and all the rest of the essentials are also covered in an easy to understand way.
