why did this book literally give me depression but we all r like snow unfallen unable to go back up right like a fungi

One of the darker and heavier poets many of these poems capture the heaviness of living in an urban and industrial era. It helped me think about how we are somehow connected even to those from the past in our feelings of loneliness and isolation.
