Es tracta de sis relats sense persona narrativa interposada, i una postil·la, en què el narrador presente alguns dubtes, vacil·lacions i sortides que ha descobert en el procés de creació dels seus textos. "La vida normal", conclou, "és l'única vida possible i la literatura sempre en prové, tot i que al final acabi en una altra banda". Una banda on, potser, tot és possible. També la vida normal. En aquest llibre Màrius Serra s'encara al repte de convertir l'experiència d'escriptor en matèria literària. Una constant que ha seguit la seva obra.

Màrius Serra i Roig, born in Barcelona, Spain, on May 1, 1963, is a prize-winning Catalan writer, journalist, translator and television host.
Serra completed his studies in English philology, and in addition to his writing career, is an English teacher.
In 2006 he won the most prestigious literary award in Catalonia, the Ramon Llull Prize, for his novel Farsa (Farce).
Though he had already published some works, he first became well-known with the publication of the novel "Mon oncle" (My uncle).
He was also the host of a television show about books, Alexandria on Channel 33 in Catalonia.
As well, Serra is a frequent contributor to the Barcelona daily newspaper Avui. Besides, he has a section in the program of Radio Nacional de España, "No es un día cualquiera", about crosswords; and another section called "Enigmarius" in Catalunya Radio.
