Thank heavens there's only one more volume of this arc because I'm so over it at this point. This is such a mess and is just, dumb. This has been stretched so thin and continues giving absolutely nothing.

Oh…Oh my goodness… I’m so excited, I don’t know where to start!

This book was amazing, I loved it, it was so well done 😭

To break things up a bit, I LOVED the romance! Seeing and the flashbacks, the foreshadowing, everything…. The writing was so good, I actually don’t understand it! I was loving every moment… The artwork at these parts was also AMAZING, and the scene of the two of them as children, when Ruby protected her, was just simply peak! I was in shock with how cute (like she Ruby acted shy…) everything was, I honestly don’t know what to say. 🥹 I feel like I can’t explain it in words, just read it, you’ll get what I mean… The fact that the two of them act the extreme ways they do because of their past broke my brain, but in a good way, lol. It was an epic feeling.

Okay, and then ! The action was actually also super cool! I’m not normally very into big fights, but I thought it was really well done, and the artist draws the Pokemon super well! It was awesome!

I still enjoyed Wally’s parts, like last time, (I just think he’s a good character…) and Steven, who first appeared in this volume, was so cool! I never found him anything special in the anime, but here, he really shined. I absolutely loved it! 😩 Wallace x Winona is still strange though, and they confirmed it even more in this volume. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not an inappropriate relationship in any sense, they are the same age, both young adults. But like, I don’t remember their relationship ever being a cannon Pokemon thing… so it just is weird to me, lol.

And then THE ENDING! A CLIFFHANGER??
Anyways, all in all, I LOVED this book. I didn’t think I’d ever enjoy a Pokemon manga like I did DP Platinum, but.. here we are! It was AMAZING, and I can’t wait to read more!

(This book contains LOTS of fantasy violence, natural disasters, and some people in a hospital. There are also innocent crushes, and in one scene, a young Ruby is shown with a large, mildly bleeding wound on his head. This is the first time I have seen that extent of blood in a Pokemon manga, BUT it does have an important relevance to the plot, and I am a very sensitive individual who can faint due to blood, but I was fine reading it. I would advise younger kids to stay away, though. I would give it an age rating of 10+!)

I really thought this one was cute, especially since we got a splash of romance. I loved all the background on Norman, Sapphire & Ruby, and Wallance & Steven we got with the flashbacks. Also getting more of Wally (my favorite rival from the games) is always a treat! Everything is wrapping up this arc! Now I just need to see Ruby encounter Milotic and have to eat some words.
I highly recommend Pokemon Adventures to any Pokemon fan. The stories are similar to the games but also completely their own.

At first this felt like it was going to be repetitive like some of the other volumes in this arc, but it surprised me! We got a lot of character development in here - a lot of GOOD character development. Sapphire's... confession was a bit much and not the direction I thought it would go, but it led to a good revelation between the two of them and I'm thankful for that. Excited to see if we finally get the end of this battle next volume!

I skipped a lot of reading in this one. There were just too many characters too many offshoots of the main plot that I thought it was boring compared to the rest of the series. All I wanted to know was about Ruby and Sapphire, and with all the extra stuff going on and the battle between the two legendary pokemon, I was loosing interest.

Igualmente funciona. Solo queda ver como cierran esta saga.

This one is quite different to most of the others in this arc, I loved Wally's involvement with Norman.
The relationship between Ruby and Sapphire is definitely growing.
I didn't really like how this one ended, otherwise the rest was really good.

This was BY far the best book in this series (Ruby and Sapphire), I love Sapphire's crush on Ruby, I didn't think it would be THIS cute!! Also I thought the plot twists and everything were just really enjoyable. <3

Wow! I am shocked by how this volume ends. 😮
It's been an emotional roller-coaster and I can't wait for the great finale in the next book. I think I'm gonna grab it right away and write a proper review of both installments once I'm done with the series. 😆

The story drags on a bit, splitting into a Wally side story for some reason.

This volume cemented Ruby & Sapphire as my favorite characters of Pokémon Adventures as well as my favorite story arc of the manga (and one of my favorite stories in the franchise among all media)
