I have endlessly enjoyed the tale of Hero and her brothers the herdsman of Ida... I am sad to see the end of their tale. Though I loved this book, as I did the two preceding, the ultimate end leaved some to be desired.... I would have liked to see the another marriage and the return of Pan, despite that the book - through to the epilogue was beautiful written and ended on a happy tone.
In this final chapter characters from the past were revisited to tie the final loose ends of love and war for the brave four children of Agealus.
Sorry, I found it kinda annoying. But it was still so good!! I have a crush on Sirius :) haha! ^^ Story was amazing. Characters were just the best, loved them. Not entirely sure about the epilogue though...
It was a bit strange, finishing this and knowing that that was it. As open as certain aspects of the ending were, it is still the end, and that was an odd feeling. I didn't quite enjoy this as much as I had the other books, and didn't feel entirely happy by how Hero's story-arc went, but by the end I was happy with it all and am so glad I've read this wonderful series.
This book was good but it wasn't the best in the series. I really enjoyed this world however. I have always enjoyed reading books about the Greek Mythology world (Percy Jackson.....). This book gave me another view on the life that ordinary people would have if these myths were real. I really enjoyed reading a different book that gave a new perspective on the old myths.
I'd say that the prologue was completely misleading, the storyline wasn't as captivating as the others from the last two novels but amusing nonetheless. Would have loved to see more of Sirius and watch his character grow. Overall, enjoyed this series.
