Astonishingly disappointing.

But so like the book. I purchased it thinking it would clarify any item in the book that I was having trouble with. Did not but I cannot say that anything could.

The notes seemed to help my high school student understand the book a little better than his English teacher was explaining. A good companion to The Alchemist.

Useful Summary

If you have not read the book this is a recitation which serves as a substitute but it us not a true substitute for actually reading the book...

Paulo C. has always been a personal favorite of mine. Understandably, this is one of the most popular of P.C.'s collections. The story takes the reader into an enjoyable fable-style narrative into the life of Santiago. With suspense and gold nuggets of life's wisdom, I'm sure this book will be a bookshelf classic for many.

the main idea of this book is the constant search of dreams that everyone has. but sometimes the treasure is one where one was originally.
