Rosalind and the other princesses are in the Kingdom of Taldonia for the Autumn Ball. They love playing with a little puppy called Patch. The book of ninja is found! Just a puppy in peril in this one - it was more about catching the jewelry thieves. Wish it had been in Rosalind’s home country as I would have liked to learn more about her background. But Violet continues to enjoy the series.

I thought it was good because it was about ninjas. I also liked how it was about eagles. And I also liked that it was about lockets.

This Rescue Princess book was amazing. Rosalind, Amina, Lottie, and Isabella set out for adventure. Rosalind tries to find The Book Of Ninja. They all found the book together in the clock tower. When they were going to leave two thieves came. They stole Rosalind's mom's jewelry. The thieves also stole a puppy named Patch. The friends loved that puppy. The thieves set out to the forest. The four friends followed. Two friends were going to call Mr.P. Then he called the police. Rosalind remembered that Lottie had emeralds in her pocket to give light. She had a plan. She asked Lottie for the emeralds. She gave the emeralds to Rosalind. Then she got the thieves attention. She threw an emerald. One thieve got it. She threw another one. The other thieve got it. Her plan was working. She did that because when the police comes the thieves will have the emeralds and the police will send them to jail. One greedy thief said, " Give me all of them."So she did. The police came when she threw them. They sent the thieves to jail. Patch was also saved! They all went back to the palace. Tonight they had the Autumn Ceremony. After that they had cookies and lemonade. They also gave patches his first bath. Then they changed their clothes for the ceremony. Rosalind wanted to give the Book of Ninja back but, Mr.P said they could keep it. They a wonderful ceremony and had a lot of fun in their adventure.

Rosalind, Lottie, Amina and Isabella are great friends. They have formed a secret club and they call themselves the Rescue Princesses. They came up with the idea when they learned of Lottie’s older sisters adventures of how she and her friends saved animals that were in terrible danger. While raking leaves the Princesses found a mysterious note that told them to look for a lost book called The Book of Ninja. Along with the note there was a beautiful silver necklace with a locket that held a tiny key. In their search for the book the girls also discovered a new little puppy named Patch. They loved Patch and played fetch with him outside. With their new found friend the girls pieced together a clue to find the book. The clue lead them to the clock tower where they discovered the book. Unfortunately, that was not all they discovered. They heard two men talking and realized they had robbed jewelry from the house. When Patch faced the robbers they took him too. Can Rosalind and the other princesses help catch the dognappers and get the stolen merchandise? Author Paula Harrison has created an adorable early reader series that young kids will love. These stories have friendly characters, fun and mysteries to solve. Parents and teachers will approve of these fast little reads.

4.5* out of 5

The four princesses that are called Lottie, Isabella, Amina and Rosalind (who loved the puppy the best) were very kind and they had a silver locket that could open every enchanted thing in the land. They also had a ninja book and it helped them to do ninja things if there was bad humans being like the bad thief that stole treasure in the story.

The puppy in the story was called Patch. The tiny puppy had his first bath at the ball when there was a really special party occasion.

I like this book because it had a playful puppy in the story that love, love, loved apples and it was very special ninja book.

When the rescue princesses find out that there is a new puppy they try to play with it. By accidently Isabell nocked the rake over and patch (the puppy) ran to hide.

Roslind thought more about finding the lost ninja book. They found it.
On the way down the stairs and they heard voices and they found out that they were robbers. The princesses tracked down the robbers in the forest.
Patch helped them.

The rescue princesses told the king and the king told the police and the police took the robbers away.
The king was very proud of the rescue princesses.
