For almost two hundred years, Trace has searched for his mate. Now he’s met Cordray. Brash, sassy, and covered in tattoos, Cordray isn’t at all the type of female he thought his mate would be, but he can’t deny the way his body reacts every time she’s near. She calms him and sparks his desire in a way no one ever has, which terrifies him, because if she has that kind of power over him, what else is she capable of?

Cordray thinks Trace is the most exciting male she’s ever met, but she refuses to drop her guard and let him in. She loved deeply once, only to be spurned when her lover mated another. The heartbreak was so severe, she lost her ability to feel. Trace has reawakened her sense of touch, but she’s scared that if she takes another chance on love only to be rejected again, this time she’ll lose her life.

With both committed to pushing the other away, every conversation escalates into a war of words. But for these two, their arguments are just foreplay. It’s only a matter of time before their desire grows stronger than their resistance. No other has tamed Trace’s inner beast the way Cordray can. And now that he’s found her, God help anyone—or anything—that tries to take her from him.

Not really sure what to think of this one.
Parts of it I loved and parts I loathed.

Not a stand-a-lone. So I'll assume you've at least read the first book in the series.

It's a love hate story. Two people (Trace and Cordray) who have been hurt badly and fear being hurt again. So they act like 12 year olds..
Trace has a kinky BDSM relationship with Micah and sometimes Sam as well. This was the part I didn't like. I understand that Trace's only proven method for containing his power is to have himself dominated in a kinky way. Pain and submission, yadda yadda yadda.
This is seriously not my thing and I used to skimmed that stuff when BDSM romances were all the rage. But it also felt like cheating. He had already met Cordray in the previous book and so It really rubbed me the wrong way that he could be sexually fulfilled buy another after meeting his mate.

So safety isn't good... nope.

BUT, after that scene, the walls around Cordray start to crumble. Once Trace actually got to know Cordray, he realized that he hadn't known her before. All his assumptions were groundless.
Their relationship is a lot of push pull as they learn to trust each other.
All this is interspersed with chasing a mysterious thief and the continued mystery of who is supplying the Drecks with vampire victims to experiment on.

Micah was an ass for a good part of the story, which kinda sucked cause I loved him in previous books. But it did make him more 'human'.

Cordray is afflicted. She can't feel anything touching her. She has no sexual desire, or at least she didn't until she met Trace. Now only he can make her feel. This made Trace's time with Micah seem even worse to me. He can seek solace with others but she can't. That kind of double standard always pisses me off.
I loved Cordray's character though. She's strong even when she is showing weakness. Once they stopped being OTT mean to each other, their bickering banter was kinda cute.

There's a weird scene that I felt was unnecessary where Trace ends up in Micah's dungeon again but not in a sexy way as I'd feared.

Safety not great.

WARNING: My review contains spoilers if you have not read the first six books. This book could be read as a standalone but why would you not want to read the first six books?
If you liked Vishous' lifestyle in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series you'll like this book. If you like lots of hot sex along with great storytelling you'll love this series.
In this book we learn the histories of Traceon (picture Shemar Moore) and Cordray (picture a female fitness model, with long blue & black hair, all inked and pierced). We learn the cause of Trace's almost uncontrollable power and why Cordray cannot feel pain or pleasure. Traceon is Micah Black's best friend and submissive. Cordray is King Bain's sister.
In the previous story Cordray was given rights to the community service Trace was being punished with by King Bain after Trace broke one of his laws. Cordray was the person responsible for getting Trace imprisoned with her testimonial at Trace's trial. Trace spent two weeks in King Bain's dungeon and on the day he was to be released to Cordray she was late to pick him up. Trace almost had a meltdown and needed Micah's Domination to put the dangerous power bubbling up inside him at bay. If it was unleashed it could cause as much destruction as an atomic bomb. So needless to say Micah and Trace hate Cordray.
Cordray was late picking up Trace because she had been doing research to find out the truth about Bishop and his medical lab where horrible experiments had been done on vampires. It was the same lab where Trace's father had been found. During her research she found out about a secret vampire fight club. After leaving the bar where she had been searching people's minds she saw a burglar breaking into Micah's apartment as he scaled down the outside of the building in downtown Chicago. Curiouser and curiouser.
So Trace is assigned to work for Cordray and in doing so they fight an obvious attraction to each other. New characters are introduced and new mysteries are laid out to be solved in the next book. I cannot wait and according to Donya Lynne's website we won't have to wait as long as we did for this book.
I love that Donya can write an action packed, erotic story with minimal inner dialogue. You get just enough to understand the characters' reasons for what they are doing and it isn't repeated just to create filler like in so many stories I've read recently. There is a great BDSM scene in Micah's dungeon that you just need to read.
The editing in Donya's books is excellent. It's old school excellent.

I have loved these books from the get go, and I have been waiting on Trace and Coco's book forever so to rate it a 3 guts me but I was flipping more pages than reading them. I don't like how couples get together too quick in a book unless it's in a series, so having the whine fest with these two was fine but it seemed to go on forever that it bored me! I love C ,she's the best female character their is in this series but I feel their has been an injustice to her, you would think after the mating call etc that Trace was whole and peaceful with his life and the love he has for C and his new adoptive family! But no he has to go down the route with slave boy again with Micah!! , I have read loads of books with Doms/masters/slave's and submission, with them I understand the whole bond and sacred relationship they have, but to have another partner, wife on the outside I feel that all in all its some sort of betrayal to them even if they say they agree !! I just don't get it and I don't think C will be as understanding as Sam as she can do all that shit and more, well unless in the next book it's going to be a big whole orgy and wife swapping etc. Just not my thing tbh but that's all my opinion, . Over all the story was great I loved skeletor and his companions I think they will become characters that are a worthy read, even Brak's book if he has one.

I really enjoyed this story. I wanted Trace to find his mate and be happy. Cordray was just what he needed, their banter was so perfect. I loved how they were the epitome of the phrase, there's a thin line between love & hate.

I don't want to say too much, but the unfolding story was interesting as well. There were a couple of things that I didn't like but if I talk about them I think they'd ruin the book for anyone who hasn't read it yet.

Stellar story and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the AKM books and anyone who truly enjoys a good story and romance.

Holy hotness Batman! Wow, Donya has brought us the seventh book in the series All the Kings Men. While each can be technically read as a stand alone, you really should read them in order so you don't get lost and confused. I've been waiting for Traceon to get his future since book one. Each book, while starring it's own leads has built on the overall story of the team as they each go through their own battles, find their own mates and try to find justice even if it means disobeying the king.
I loved that the Master/slave dynamic was applied so well between Micah and Trace, that each is giving to the other as they get, and the fact that Micah could get Trace into such a relaxed subspace without one causing actual pain or humiliation highlighted the lifestyle without playing to the stereotypes found in other books. Cordray was so bad ass and yet so vulnerable inside that it was fun to watch her learn to balance the two, fighting with herself even as she both held Trace close and shoved him away at the same time. And the plot twists about that suddenly appearing banished werewolf, the fight club-esque Grudge Match and its runner Digon, and -omg- the one involving "Skeletor" and Micah....... I can't wait for book eight. I hope to see more soon of Brack, the poor half lycan half vampire, Maddox, the adorable twins and the rest of the crew from Asylum. Maybe we'll see the end of Royce and Bishop too. Definitely grab all seven, sit down and enjoy, but make sure you've done time because once you start you won't want to stop reading these.

Holy Batman! I have never read a story like this one. I did not read the first six books but I will because this is book number seven and holy batman this book was HOT!

Trace has been searching a long time for his mate. He knows she is out there but he can't seem to find her. In his search he finds a sassy and brash girl Cordray. She is a handful and takes no holds bar attitude. But Trace thinks she is the one.

Cordray meets Trace and she instantly does not like him. She can't stand him but as time goes on she can't help but like him. But she is weary because she has had her heart broken before. So she wants to protect her heart from any hurt. As she pushes Trace away it only makes Trace work harder for her to fall in love with him. The push and pull of hearts is amazing.

Will Cordray let Trace in or will she keep her heart locked up....

PANTIES IN A TWIST, MEET SUPER HOT ASSHOLE.
THIS ONE WAS A LIVEWIRE BECAUSE CORDRAY AND TRACE'S ANTAGONISM WAS A FUCK FEST WAITING TO HAPPEN AND YOU GET TO MEET OTHER OLD CHARACTERS HERE AS WELL.

HERO is a bit of a conundrum I couldn't peg if he was heterosexual or homosexual because his relationship with Micah and Sam was complicated. I'm not here to bash Micah's fans or the LGBT family but Micah's interference in Trace's life as a Dom put me off a little. It's like they are his parents who somehow does sexual things with him but wouldn't let him find his own girlfriend....Anyhow, Micah and Sam did let him go to Cordray after. We all know how Cordray and Trace has been a stick up each other's ass for a long time and it's only because both were scared of what they made each other feel. Trace has been in grief and guilty forever believing he killed his mom and after that lost his dad and brother. Here we see Brak's reappearance though not much. I'm only happy to see Trace graduate from a sub to being his own man when he mated Cordray.

HEROINE is a spunky goth chick with kick ass skills and a dirty mouth. Hurt from a lover centuries ago, she's unable to feel pain or emotion anymore, so when Trace sparks up a fire in her she's the first to tuck tail and run for all her bravado. Despite her attitude, Coco is seriously just misunderstood as she sets out to deliberately keep people at arm's length. Her relationship with Trace did take awhile to develop and build from one point to an explosive moment.

OVERALL it was enjoyable if you like characters who become enemies to lovers sort of thing with a lot of bickering and a hero who isn't exactly alpha. This story certainly sets a different pace to stories like this though I won't say that everyone will like it.

I have been reading this series from the beginning and have only become more invested as time has moved forward. The characters are so well written and speak to me because they have the emotion and personalities that you cannot resist. My only criticism is that the subplots are sometimes very easily figured out, though that could just be me, still do not detract from the overall enjoyment of the read. The background and supporting characters are also rich and add value to the overall tone of the tale being told.

Trace has spent his life looking for one thing or another, his mate as well as the person who can help him to tame the power within him. With Micah, he has found the Dom who can give him what he has always needed to calm him. But his mate has always seemed to be nothing more than a dream since finding your mate is something that can take several lifetimes for some.

This is the story of two people who have trust issues as well as issues with playing well with others. Cordray keeps many things hidden from those around her, from her parentage to the affliction that has impacted her life for 800 years. Trace has many issues that he fights on a daily basis, the least of which is the guilt he feels over the loss of his mother.

I have loved the character of Trace since he was first introduced but I had a harder time warming up to Cordray, like Micah, because she seemed so caustic and frankly unlikeable. This was even though I knew she was being brought in as the love interest of my favorite bald vampire. But things do get better.

This is definitely one of the good ones with a large cast of characters and some twists that will keep you reading long past bed time.

This book got 4 stars only because it was Trace’s book. It wasn’t as good as I thought it would be I skipped a few pages when Cordroy was going on and on and on with the same dribble again and again....I just couldn’t take it anymore.

REVIEW: 4.25 stars--BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL is the seventh installment in Donya Lynne’s contemporary, adult ALL THE KING’S MEN erotic, paranormal romance series focusing on a group of vampire warriors, who work for AKM (AKM is a group of elite vampire warriors and mutant vampires brought together to save the humans and rid the world of the Dreks- hybrid vampire shape shifters). This is half-breed vampires Trace and Cordray’s story line. BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL can be read as a stand alone but for history, back story and cohesion I recommend reading the series in order. BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL advances the series a few weeks in time.

NOTE: BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL contains M/M and BDSM sexual situations.

Told from several third person perspectives BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL follows three paths that overlap and converge at several points in the story: Cordray and Trace’s relationship: Trace and Micah’s D/s relationship and Trace’s need to be dominated; and the search for the person responsible for the break, enter and theft at Micah’s apartment.

Trace is a warrior vampire with the AKM and believes himself to be a freak-a hybrid vampire despised for who and what he is. When life begins to unravel for Trace, our hero seeks out his best friend Micah - a Dominant vampire who knows how to control Trace’s inner beast. Trace’s desperate need to find a mate finds our hero falling for the woman who betrayed our hero to the King. BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL follows the developing relationship and romance between two vampires who want (and despise) one another with equal need and desire.

Cordray is a strong, alpha female who hides behind a mask of gothic jewelry and clothing. She is a vampire with a heartbreaking past, a secret connection to the King, and a woman with a softer side that focuses on the rescue of those without family and support. A few days in one another’s presence finds Cordray and Trace in the push and pull of attraction, their animosity and hatred for one another, and the call to mate.

BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL has a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including the introduction of several newcomers that will play a significant role in the lives of some of the men at AKM. Trace’s brother Brak makes a cameo appearance, and Micah will come face to face with his past. Several of the AKM vampires and their mates are with child-I am looking forward to getting an update on their lives and loves. Donya ‘hints’ at another potential growing family.

The world building continues to focus on the destructive and addictive nature of the vampire designer drug ‘cobalt’, and its connections to Bishop, the Dreks, and a series of underground experiments on half-breed vampires.

BOUND GUARDIAN ANGEL is a fantastic story of friendship and love; heartbreak and betrayal; fated mates and falling in love. The premise is captivating and provocative; the characters are engaging, passionate and intense; the romance is inspiring and challenging-destiny and fate cannot be denied. Donya Lynne continues to expand our horizons with the vampires of the AKM.

Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.

Trace has searched all his life for his mate, but he never thought it would be her.

That's the tag line for this book and it sums it up perfectly!

Book 7 in the All The Kings Men series and you really really should read the others first. Because you need to know about Trace and Cordray before this book. About Trace's brother and father, about all the things that lead up to this point. And not least because, I said SO!

And we waited. And waited and waited so very long for Trace's book. And it did not disappoint!!

Oh it is GLORIOUS!! This is one of those reviews that I could gush and gush all day, but I gotta reign it in, for it to make sense to you.

Trace and Cordray have an instant dislike for each other, it simmers and bubbles a long way through the book, before either of them actually admit to themselves that maybe this isn't dislike. Maybe, just maybe, its more, so much MORE than that. And I LOVED, freaking LOVED being kept waiting for that main event to happen!! Well over half way before they admit to each other what's really going. LOVED being made to wait for it, loved that even as the DISLIKE simmered and bubbled through the book, the mating bond simmered and bubbled equally as strong. And when that main event happened?? There were things broken, smashed, damaged! I'm fairly certain I saw stars, let alone these two!

I loved the scenes between Trace and Micah, and I'm left wondering, wondering about those.

There are one or two other things going on, things that will make spoilers if I tell you what, but suffices to say, there is a spanner or two thrown in the works. For specific characters, and for everyone in general. Things that will rock the very foundation of these vampires and their mates, I suspect. Lynne has a way of throwing things at you, just when you least expect it, as she does here! It leaves you hanging. Not quite CLIFF HANGER hanging, but hanging none the less. Because I saw one of those spanners coming at me, from very early on, and I was right!!

I just really REALLY hope I don't have to wait nearly two years for the next book!

5 stars

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

I have not read the entire series but I did read the first book a few weeks prior to this one releasing.
I got a glimpse of Trace and immediately wanted to know more about him. You can read this book without reading the previous 6 books and figure out what is going on. I’m sure it is easier to follow if you have read them in order though. Let me start by saying I loved Cordrays tough attitude by when she let some of her wall down and we say the real Crodray is when I fell in love with her. Trace he was amazing to see his submissive side one minute and then that tough guy side come out was like nothing I ever expected from him.

Trace is the one hiding in the shadows keeps everything held in tight. He needs to submit to keep things in check and Micah needs to dominate. They make the perfect friendship but Trace is still missing something looking for his mate the one that will make him complete. What a shock when he realizes the one he despises most is the one that he is drawn to and calms him without dominating him.

Cordray the tough as nails tell it like it is and never back down loathes Micah and Trace but she knows there is a connection between her and Trace from their first touch. However, she has had her heart shattered before and there is no way she will let anyone get that close again no matter how much of a connection there is. Unfortunately for Cordary once Trace makes his mind up he is on the hunt for what is his can her walls hold up or will Trace blast threw them.

Watching Cordray and Trace try to push each other away when their instincts were telling them they belonged together was astounding. It made my heart skip a few beats when Micah had to help Trace tame his beast. The chats that Sam and Cordray have are heartwarming to see Cordray open up and treat Sam as a friend. To see how both Cordray and Trace are two different people when they are around Aiden and Null was the best. OMG the Epilogue was EPIC talk about pulling you in and making you want more. OH YEAH I definitely want more I have got to find out what is going to happen next.

While this story truly focuses on Trace and the King's half-sister, we do get bits and pieces from other places. We see Trace released from custody. We see Cordray not show up to release Trace to Micah like she promised. What happened that kept her from showing up when she said she would? What happens the next day when Micah finds out that Cordray knew what he had just been told and did not say anything about it? What reasoning did she give to Micah? Clearly the potential for friendship is extremely broken or fractured. When Cordray shows up at Micah's house to pick up Trace to begin his probationary period with Cordray at her facility, what happens? When Micah comes back up from the dungeon, from taking care of Trace and putting his powers back in check, what happens? With Trace and Cordray mortal enemies in their minds, it is interesting to watch how things change and progress between the four of them. We watch as Trace learns his brother is in Chicago now. When multiple parties start investigating something similar to 'Fight Club' what happens? I can only say that we leave on one hell of a cliff hanger with this book. I suspect the next book will be all about Micah again. Things hit the fan that I was not expecting. You're going to have to read this story to see exactly what is going on. It is a trip and a half of a read. I really enjoyed it and look forward to the next book. Because there are definitely some things with Sam, Micah, Trace, and Cordray that are left unfinished that I cannot wait to see a resolution on. Can Micah ever figure out a way to break down the wall that Trace has up that prevents Micah from seeing what's in his thoughts? Definitely some interesting ideas in this book on how to go about breaking down those walls. What happens that gives Micah some of the ideas that he has? Enjoy the read.

Eye roll

Let me start by saying I like this series and I like these vampires, well some of them. However, in this book Trace and Cordray whined too much for my taste. Now I like Cordray way more than any other female in this series but I like the other characters perception of her. Every time we heard her internal thoughts it was the same.." I can't feel...I can feel Trace...I can't love..because Gideon left me...what does it mean that I can feel Trace?"....I would have understood and I would have been more sympathetic to her situation if it had not happen over 100 years ago.. seriously get the heck over it. The story took way to long for Trace and Cordray to come together..So much other stuff could have been happening. We could have learned more about the wolf that came from the moon. Trace was just as whiny as Cordray. For all his internal banner about wanting a mate he should have recognized the situation so much sooner. I know that Trace needs Micah but there is something pathetic about his relationship with Micah. I understand his need to have a master but their situation doesn't come off as master slave. There is no element of beauty in it..I feel like all Sam ever does is cook and give advice.. the only reason I am giving this book three stars is because for the most part it's interesting. Donya kept my attention to the bigger plot not just Trace and Cordray...overall it's a pretty good vampire series...

Once again the intensity is of the charts and this time we get deep into the minds of Cordray and the amazingly awesome Trace!

If ever there was a pair where passions literally explode it would be with these two!

Cordray is our favorite female we love to hate but each time she was mentioned you just knew that there was so much more going on with her and I could not wait to see what was behind the mask.

Trace. Where do I even start with him? He has been a favorite for so long that you could not wait to see him catch a break and find some happiness. But seeing everything he locked away for so long just made his story finally coming out all the better.

While these two might seem like oil and water you know they are more like a fire just waiting to catch and burn. And oh how the heat was there! Steam doesn't even begin to cover it!

Add to it that you get to see more characters who you just know you are going to fall in love with a storyline that is ever growing and expanding and you have yourself one great book!

This is the story of Cordray and Trace nobody has an intense love story like these two. This was a really good story I enjoyed every word of it. The chemistry in this story from the arguments to the passion was so worth and enjoying this book. Watching the character’s bond together and come together was definitely an experience.
This book was take you on a ride through the life of these awesome characters that leave you wanting more. Trace and Cordray both fight against their attraction to each other both for different reason but have no doubt there is just a step in their attraction. This story is no different than any other book in this series it’s just as good and so worth reading. The ups and down ,the passion , the characters ,secondary characters ,the writing all this made for an exceptional story .
Ms. Lynn gave an exceptional story and it was so freaking good really hoping there is more to the series, because I do not want it to end . So if you’re looking for a new read then this is the series for you.

Trace's story finally, I really enjoyed getting to read more about Trace. With every book in the series his is the one I wanted...needed. I'm glad I read the ones before because you get back story on a lot of the characters so when you get to their book you feel like you already know them. I've learned that Donya Lynn has written this series like an onion with every layer peeled another more interesting layer is under. The twists and turns in this series are interesting and keep me guessing. Trade and Cordary are perfect together and I love their back and forth banter. Micah as usual is his perfect pissed off self. And now I'm worried about Sam and hope that we get more with what is going on with her soon. I love the twins in this and melts my heart reading about Trace with them. We are introduced to a new villain who might not be a villain?! And I kind of missed the whole Bishop and gang story, is that strange? And hope to catch up and finally figure out what is going on. A lot of back ground stories going on within this series that I can't wait to read.

Donya did it again! As a huge fan of the whole series, that I have read twice already when I don't normally read books more than once, I was eagerly awaiting Bound Guardian Angel and it did not disappoint! If I didn't already love Trace and Micah, I do even more so now. I was worried about how this was going to play out, with the dynamics of it all, but without giving any spoilers away, it turned out perfectly. So happy that none of the relationships are broken. Once again, the story is fantastic, with lots of food for though about the next books and impatient waiting for them to come out. Cordray, who you love to hate, you end up loving in this book. BGA leaves you swirling through the emotions and ripping through it to see what happens next and who is who and what they mean to the overall story. SO Can't wait for more, Great job and thanks so much for bring these characters to live for us Donya!

A Story that will make you SCREAM IN FRUSTRATION.. OMG

OMG I knew this book was going to be intense and mind blowing, Trace and Cordray sizzle like no one else has in this series so far. Sweet!!! My emotions were all over the place. Between wanting to either Jack slap them and the way the author drew it out just intensified with their banter back and forth. But what cause me to almost hyperventilate was when Micah had Trace in the dungeon and set him on fire. The pain of his screams seemed to jump out of the book and squeezed my heart, to the point I had to walk away for a bit. Dam you Donya Lynn, you caused me to have a ugly cry myself. Lol.
And to end it the way you did, well let's just say that I had a few choice words I called ya. But I am so looking forward to what comes next.

Intensely Awesome.. High 5 Stars

This is Trace and Cordray's story, which has been long awaited. I'm very glad to say that Donya Lynne hasn't disappointed in any way.

I don't know how she manages it, because this book covers A LOT of ground with stories being linked together to make the whole make sense. However, it also focuses on Trace and Cordray mainly, with Micah and Sam making their opinions known in their own inimitable style.

With snarky banter from the word go, you see Trace and Cordray's relationship deepen as circumstances allow. With Cordray's 'kids' proving the awww element, this is a book that shows you every side of being with someone.

Excellently written and with no editing or grammatical errors that I found, this one definitely recommended by me.

* I received this book from More Than Words Promotions in return for a fair and honest review. *

I really enjoyed this book by Donya Lynne. I did not read the first 6 books, and its ok. Do not feel you cant read without the others. Each seems to be a standalone, with overflow with characters and base storylines. I enjoyed the depth of the characters and the way this author pulls you into the world.
This is the story of Trace who is searching for his mate, knowing she is out there somewhere. She is his by fate. By some chance he runs across sassy Cordray. And she will need more than a little convincing that she could possibly even LIKE Trace mush less be his mate. At this story goes by page by page (which I couldnt put down), I love the interactions ect. I really enjoy Cordrays personality

Wow! Awesome !!!

This latest installment to the AKM series was everything I hoped it would be and more. As Trace and Cordray's story unfolds there are plot twists and surprises that are revealed that left me wanting more, more, more. As much as I love Trace's character, I was very happy that the series has circled back to Micah and Sam because I just can't get enough of them. I have been hooked on this series from the moment I picked up Rise of the Fallen the first book in the AKM series. Love this series!

****Due to some intense sexual situations this series is meant for adult readers.****

This is the long awaited 7th book in the All the Kings Men Series. Trace's story has finally arrived and it has exceeded every expectation I had for his story. I love it and it fits Trace and Cordray perfectly. A lot of reviewer will give SPOILERS but I won't!!! If you want to know read the book it's great. But you really need to read the rest of the series first, so if you haven't start with Rise of the Fallen (Micah's Story) first. Donya Lynne is a great author and I love all her books and recommend them to everyone I know.

I love the banter so much in any story but Cordray and Trace had it in spades. I was laughing a ton as I read this book! Cordray is my kind of chick a total bada** who is kind of a softy. Trace is interesting with his issues with his past and feeling like a freak, I immediately felt something for the guy. I have not read anything else from this series and there were a few conversations that I didn't follow so well because the happened somewhere else in the series but Donya did a great job of giving enough detail so I wasn't totally lost.
