Shipwrecked

Captain Holden burst from the cabin of the ship and onto the deck. “Tami, the ship is sinking! The hull is filling with water, and we’re going down fast!” Fear coursed through me, and immediately, I was fully awake. I jumped up, grabbing the handle of my duffel bag and slinging it over my shoulder. “Here, put this life jacket on. Quickly!” He shouted, panic filling his usually calm voice. I put the life jacket on in a rush, my brain barely comprehending exactly what was happening. Everything that was happening was so abrupt and shocking that it all seemed like a dream. “Jump! Jump down! Jump clear of it!” Captain Holden screamed. Even from where I stood, I could see the look of utter terror in his eyes. Blindly following his instructions, I jumped over the side of the boat, still clutching my duffel bag.

I’m an author, musician, artist, actress, photographer, filmmaker, and poet. I was born in the Pacific Northwest and have enjoyed writing and music from a young age.

I am a musician and have released two singles, feel-good pop/rock songs. My first single is The Strength of Hope, which is available for purchase on iTunes & Amazon MP3. I also produced and directed the music video for this song, and this can be found on YouTube. I also released my second single, Shooting Star, which has a video available on YouTube as well.

I have released two short films, Golden Ladders to the Stars & Beyond & Gifts of the Heart. I wrote, directed, and acted in both films, which are available on YouTube.

I am also an avid photographer & artist, & I have published my photos and works of art on sites such as DeviantArt & Zazzle.
