This book has so much helpful information to improve every facet of your life, from romantic relationships to success in the workplace to fulfilling and healthy friendships. The author explains how we can create luck for ourselves through behaviors/thought patterns that are very easy to introduce into our lives. Even when there are factors out of our control, we have control over how we respond to them. There are 12 tenants to follow and the author explains and ties them together very well. She uses many examples of personal stories of which everyone can relate to. Simply being aware of the tenants has changed the way I perceive everything in my life.

I love self-help books, as I feel they give good instruction at any time, even when you don't really need help. This was an exceptional book in that regard. She provided practical advice and gave good, hard evidence for statements. It's also a feel good book. I would recommend it, and have!

I generally don't read self-help books, but this one made some good points.
