An important contribution to social history in Norfolk about wherries and past working life on the Norfolk Broads. So often the lives of working people goes unrecorded and forgotten as are their skills and crafts, we forget how much they contributed to life today as the backbone of Englands industrial revolution in the 19th Century.

Fantastic little book about the haulage boats of East Anglia, full of interesting snippets of history, folklore and the authors own experience.
