I'm not sure this is one I will ever actually finish. Although I've probably actually read most of it over the past few years. I pull it out when the travel bug is biting to see what types of adventures are currently calling me. Its interesting how different types of adventures will pop out at me each time, depending on what's going on in my life, what time of year it is or just how far I want to escape at the time.

I love this type of book, good tips on the best time of year to go places around the world. This book wasn’t really great for me as there were only a small handful of things I was interested in that I haven’t already done.

I guess this book was put together cheaply from information Lonely Planet had lying around (no need for further field research and its all general information). I like it though. Its good for reminiscing about places I have been to and a quick guide to others I may wish to visit and activities to undertake. Essentially a coffee table book set out in a calendar style

A very interesting book, however, includes too much bungee jumping and BASE (like skydiving without the plane or the altitude) jumping areas. Some of these feats are really superhuman, like crossing the U.S. by bike in nine days.

This book does not have much information of anything its just a brief summary of many places, I think that it is missing relevant important information for some places and times of the years. Overall, this is a great dream maker and a cure for my wanderlust.
