This sweet book was given to me by my equally sweet friend. I enjoyed reading it in the mornings with my daily devotional.

I was pretty disappointed with this book because I expected it to be cute short stories/reflections on a life lived with cat companions. It was somewhat that, but with the addition of Bible quotes and meditations on life lessons based on those Bible quotes/religious (Christian) philosophies… Every story had a Bible verse and a prayer on the last page, next to a (pretty basic)
fact about cat care. Maybe my disappointment is my fault for not reading more about the author where she outright states that faith was one of the main tenets of her upbringing, but I was expecting just the cute cat stories, not the side of Christian religion. If you’re Catholic or any other type of Christian, perhaps you’d enjoy it more than I did.

Absolutely love this book. I think any cat lover would enjoy and appreciate it. This book includes a suggested prayer with almost each section and a "cat nip" which gives educational information on cats and famous cats. A great book if you need some cheering up, thoughts for prayer or some inspiration, or just want to learn more about cats.

I usually do not read books about meditation or ones that talk about improvement but I do read a lot of books about cats. I love cats if you did not know. I enjoyed this book and the multiple stories it told on the pages but I did not get any insight from the meditations nor the advice given on every other page. I knew going into the book I would not do anything with the lessons learned from the arrangement of the different cats' stories, but I would have liked to learn something new other than the clichés of being yourself because individuality matters and others just like that.

This was a cute book I’ve had lying around my house for quite awhile – received as a gift. The book is full of stories about cats and their mischief and quirks. It was fun reading to see that my cats (past and present) are not the only ones who do crazy things and whose personality traits often reflect humans.

There wasn’t much depth to the book, but for cat lovers it could be the perfect read. It also correlates not only habits of cats but how those activities can teach you a life lesson. Furthermore, there are great quotes and good tips on treating cats for ailments.

A cute, simple collection of fun, cat-related anecdotes that can be the perfect introduction for figurative reading for kids. Imagine Aesop's fables but with cats and Christian themes.

It's structured in a way to tell a short, entertaining or compelling literal story, while then explaining the figurative meaning (alongside a short prayer and Bible verse). It's a cozy read for adults and a perfect read for kids that want to learn comprehending subtext and reading between the lines 😻

I did not know that this book is a faith-based book when I bought it and as a non-Christian I found it very off putting and it did not speak to me at all. I think it would appeal to Christian cat lovers though!

My daughter Rachel (also a cat lover) gifted me this devotional on Thanksgiving. Her timing was perfect!

Each entry is brief enough to read in a few minutes and will leave you with a smile on your face.

It's about what you'd expect. Short cat stories with a moral. Biblical oriented since it includes prayers and Bible versions to go with each selection.

Required reading for all cat lovers. It really made me look at my cat in a different way. It also includes some tips on behavior and health issues facing cats. I never knew that if you cat sits on all fours and stares at you it is a huge sign of affection. My cat does that all the time, but I thought she was just hoping I was going to go get food :)

This was a very simplistic book, and I can see its appeal for some people ... just not me! It had very short stories about cats & how those elements related to different Bible verses. Some of them I could get my head around, others not so much.

What a cute collection of stories. This book came to me from another cat lover, it does have some good insight into life if you are a religious person. But I would say that if you really love cats this is a fun short read.
