All Things Clear: One family, one hundred years – a Colorado story.

Rate this book
I barely knew my father when he died. As a foster child, I moved through many homes and families, only sharing a house with my father for a couple years. As an adult, my independent life provided virtually no contact with him. And with no siblings or other children, my father left it to me to deal with the family farm. The process of dismantling and selling the farm became an adventure... an adventure in which I discovered much of my family's history. A treasure trove of artifacts and information painted a history as colorful as it was entertaining. From the five brothers who came to America from Greece one hundred years ago, to their wives and children, I met the family I never knew. But most of all, I came to know and understand my father. A small metal box, buried among the other artifacts, contained an envelope labeled "For L.L." My heart raced with hopes and fears as I opened it. The contents answered many questions, completed my adventure and eventually made 'all things clear'.
