Could there be a cuter way to learn colors and numbers? Announcing a new line of board books featuring the irresistible Teacup Pigs of Pennywell Farm. Small enough to hold in the palm of your hand, the Pennywell pigs are an adorable lot. They’re also naturals in front of the camera―especially the camera belonging to Richard Austin who, as their exclusive photographer, knows just how to capture their big personalities.
The Pocket Piggies board books marry the inherent appeal of Teacup Pigs to the sweetness of the board book format. The photographs are full-color, full-page, and up-close. The subjects are On each spread of Pocket Piggies Colors! , one of the beloved piggy models is paired with an object or animal of a different color―like a little piggy holding a red guitar or checking out a yellow chick.
Each page has a photo of a teacup pig with another animal or object of a featured colour. Eg, a pig with a yellow chick, red guitar, orange flower. Very simple and cute way to teach your baby about colours and animals.
This is a nice, straight forward, easy to read book. & there are pigs. Lots of super cute little pigs doing super cute stuff like playing red guitars. My son struggles with language and this the type of book I like to add to our home library. There is no guesswork when you see the photos and it helps to encourage simple two word phrases (blue cup, red guitar, etc.) which is our current goal.
This is an adorable book. My 2.5 year old loves the silly pictures of the tiny pigs and telling us what colour and thing is in each picture with each pig.
These little piggies are so cute. I want one to carry in my pocket. I can't decide which is my favorite, probably green boots or purple car! Nope, it's definitely Pink Roses!
