The Psychic Energy Codex: A Manual For Developing Your Subtle Senses

Rate this book
An authoritative manual for psychic development, The Psychic Energy Codex explores the roots of modern metaphysical beliefs, including the doctrine of the subtle body in the Western tradition, the origin of belief in the chakras, and core principles behind time-honored techniques such as meditation and creative visualization. Like Belanger's Psychic Vampire Codex, The Psychic Energy Codex makes esoteric topics accessible and understandable. The Psychic Energy Codex . . .
- De-mystifies psychic experience, taking a practical, rational approach to phenomena from psychometry to spirit communication with a style that will engage beginners and experts alike
- Provides many hands-on exercises that encourage readers to develop their own beliefs based on direct personal experience
- Teaches readers the underlying principles of psychic phenomena that can then be applied to any interaction with the subtle world
Written in Belanger's engaging, almost novelistic style, the parts of this book that tell her own story draw readers into the possibility that they, too, can develop their own innate abilities.

Overall this is a decent primer on energy work. I do wish the ending map of working through the book was more directly introduced during the body of the text. That said, the exercises are working well so far!

Belanger provides us with a lot of useful information about psychic intuition, senses and general psychic work. It's not the only "manual" which you should read if you wish to awake your psychic powers, but it's a good book for start. It will give you enough basics so you can start your psychic journey.

Most of the things in this book i knew already, since an advanced practitioner. But for a beginner this is a good start and contains a lot of information. And exercises. Which i have not done, so i'll put them into practice as soon as i can to develop my psychic powers even more. Belanger is an expert in this field, and i always enjoy her writings very much!

I've read a few books about psychic development but none were able to help me find focus the way this one did. Beginners and advanced psychics will find useful information and exercises that are not exclusive to one religious path over another. Highly recommended.
