"He’s just seen the one thing that was meant for her eyes only."

More Than, Book 3

Molly Harris never intended to send that letter. It was only meant to be a secret record of her true feelings for her boss, gorgeous pediatrician Sam Shepard. But in the chaos of a crazy day at work, Molly accidentally hits “send” instead of “delete”.

Mortified by her mistake, Molly acts in the only way she can. She submits her notice of resignation. A professional-etiquette line’s been crossed, and there’s no going back.

Sam’s mouth goes dry—then it waters—when he discovers his receptionist has sent him a dirty love letter. Or to be more explicit, a wicked, erotic love letter, neatly outlining her many fantasies involving him.

Now Sam has two choices. Either he can be the ultimate professional and accept Molly’s resignation, or he can acknowledge the depths of his desire and maybe, just maybe, convince her to send him another saucy email…

Could cause the uncontrollable urge to write—and receive—dirty love letters. But proceed with caution…you’re going to want to act on those letters. Immediately.

Jess Dee lives in beautiful Sydney, Australia, with her husband, their two sons and their insane dog - a ridiculously overweight puggle named Luigi.

An avid romance reader since her early teens, Jess knew one day, when she grew up, she’d have to write her own love stories. It might have taken a while, but in December of 2005, she finally got “the call.” Her first book, Photo Opportunity had been contracted. Now you can’t hold her down. She’s completed a whole host of books, and is finally doing the work she loves most— writing romance.

This one did not work completely for me.
I liked the hero whose introduction in the previous book certainly triggered interest. I liked the exchange of letters/emails between them and the way it started out seemed realistic enough. It seemed a bit quick how fast they managed to switch from boss-employee to lovers and how changing their relationship never seemed to worry them for the future.
However the hero seemed too good to be true, artificial in his utter perfection. And I really did not like that the heroine in a way was and had been totally dependent on him for the past 4 years. Yeah she earned well her keep now but she worked for him and got the job offer out of pity, when she did not have the slightest qualification to take the job. That's one of my pet peeve, I hate it when one character depends too much in every way on the other, as I believe in more balanced relationship as a prerequisite for happy long term relationships.

I adored the way this book turned out for Sam. :) He was so endearingly sweet in the previous book, and I'm so glad he found his love.

Molly and Sam have both shared a secret longing for each other, but an accidental email describing her desires takes these two in a new direction. Once Sam reads what Molly is really thinking, all he wants is more. Now in true Dee fashion, she is able to weave in so much emotion that the story feels complete even with it being a novella. Jess was able to make these characters feel complete by showing their shared past and building that into a realistic HEA for them. This was the perfect mix of sexiness with genuine feeling, and I just loved it. :)

I didn't like this one as much as the other ones. Which is sad.

I don't know why either.

I liked Sam from the previous book.

Molly wasn't unlikable.

But I don't know.. it just didn't draw me in.

And the first letter that accidentally got sent wasn't that racy. I guess I was just expecting MORE.

And most of the smex was done via the letters.. perhaps thats what made it meh.

This one wasn't as good as the first two, imo, but still better than what I expected.

4.5 STARS

I’ve enjoyed this series by Jess Dee from the start but this one really brings a smile to my face. First off we met the hero Sam in the second book, he was pretty instrumental in helping Charlie and Sarah get their act together and figure out they wanted more from each other. But what I really loved was that Jess Dee the master of creating hot, steamy, melt your panties off sex scenes didn’t allow our couple to actually do the deed until almost the very end of this book! Right now all of you have had your minds blown, right? Let me assure you that even though their physical relationship is put on hold, you will be amazed by how sinfully arousing this book is. When Molly Harris accidentally sends a provocative email to her boss, Dr. Sam Shepard she’s mortified and feels she must resign. Sam on the other hand finds it more than interesting and he’s very willing to finally address the feelings he’s had for Molly for almost 4 years. They both soon find that the power of words can sometimes be just as effective as the action they describe yet those words leave them longing for so much more.

Wow, I can’t get over how completely gratifying this book is despite only one sex scene. The characters are so likeable. Molly the efficient receptionist who was thrust into adulthood when her mother was killed and she became instant parent to her younger sibling. She comes off as cool and professional yet when she sits down to pen the emails to Sam; we see this whole other side. The woman who sees her boss as more than the doctor who gave her sister her life back, she sees him as the man who she wants in her bed and in her heart. There’s no doubt Sam is an amazing doctor and well respected at the hospital but there’s something missing in his life. He’s thrown when he gets the first accidental email but he also knows he doesn’t want them to stop. They both know they are crossing a line but neither one can seem to find the strength to quit.

I can say with absolute clarity that this will be one of those books I read again and again. There’s just something so sexy about the words these two have for one another and the reaction to them by the other. Even though More Than Words is a novella, I felt like I got a complete story. We get to know these characters, we know they share a past, and we understand the unrequited feelings they share for one another. While I’ve enjoyed the other two stories in this series, this one felt like it had more substance and it’s hard not to imagine what the future has in store for these two. Another job well done and another book to add to my read often pile!

Three short and delectable stories featuring three distinct themes. The one commonality that all three novellas share is that they provide scorching hot reads which tantalizes your tastebuds and leaves them begging for more. I am quite certain that a lot of readers who pick this series up and finds themselves falling in love with each character in the series would only want for one thing – full length novels featuring themes such as this one that authors seldom write these days.

More than Words is the third and final novella in the series and features a boss/secretary sort of theme where Molly Harris who has been in love with her boss Dr. Sam Sherman for much longer than she would like to admit finds herself in the awkward position of having sent an email that should never have reached Dr. Sam in the first place if not for her wayward emotions and a helluva busy day. An email that depicts her dirtiest fantasies involving the good doctor himself.

Sam couldn’t be more stunned in having found the explosive email in his inbox. And the fact that his tired brain could conjure every single one of Molly’s words and view them technicolor is proof enough that where his assistant is concerned, Sam is just fooling himself by thinking that he doesn’t feel the same where Molly is concerned.

If I were to pick a ‘least favorite’ in this series, More than Words would be it for me. Somehow the story lacked a little bit of something that prevented the wow factor from dazzling me. Even then, Jess Dee as one hell of a writer manages to pull off a story worth sinking your teeth into.

If you are looking for quick hot reads to fill the void between lengthier reads, More Than is the series for you. That is if you can manage to read all three without either spontaneously combusting on the spot or dunking yourself under a long cold shower. Yep, Jess Dee pulls no punches with the scorch factor in each of these stories. Recommended!

I could not wait to read More Than Words by author Jess Dee after finding out that it was going to be Sam's story. You see, I adored Sam in the previous book, More Than Lovers, and he deserved to find his own love. And boy, he sure does in the most unexpected and delicious way.

Molly Harris has been in love with Dr Sam Sherman for years now and has had many fantasies about him. She's not expressed or acted on her feelings for him since she works for him. One encounter and a misunderstanding has Molly divulging her inner, naughty fantasies in an email and accidentally sending to Sam. OMG! That letter was SO HOT! Poor Sam didn't know what hit him after receiving that email. LOL! The naughty letter outlined what Molly wanted to do to him in excruciating detail that left Sam wanting more. And so did I!

I adored Molly; she was sweet, kind, loving and oh so naughty and I could SO feel her horror at unknowingly sending Sam that email. Jess always does a great job conveying her character's emotions in her storytelling and I just connect to them as if they were my friends. Sam is the kind of guy a woman would want to marry. He is kind, caring and sexy as hell especially while reading a dirty letter *fans self*

I really enjoyed the deep respect and friendship Sam and Molly shared beyond their professional relationship. You learn how they came into each other's lives and the impact it had on them. This just strengthened their bond and I became even more invested in them as a couple. Their connection went deeper than the words in the letter and the foreplay throughout the book. I loved that the author was able to write a sweet yet very hot story in a completely different way. Kudos to Jess for another fabulous story :)

I'm still trying to gather my thoughts to write a coherent piece about this book! It was such an unusual book with a twists and a geniality that only Jess Dee could deliver!
I loved it! And for the first time ever I'm giving a spoiler in my review. So if you don't like spoilers about books you still want to read, stop reading this now!!!

Readers who complain about erotic romances having too much sex and too little story should definitely give this book a try!
I just finished an erotic romance with no real sex scene. There is plenty of heat in the dirty love letters, there is a very sexy oral sex scene but not a single intercourse sex scene. When you make me love a book with only sexy letters and one oral sex scene, you are an evil genius. I was captivated by this book from start to finish! Loved the characters, adored the letters, was moved by the romance and educated by the medical stuff!
Jess Dee is the awesomeness, that is all!

I really liked how Molly's mistake letter made things better for her and Sam. I know had I been Molly I would have been horrified, like Molly. Sam's reaction made me smile, even better was his demand of more letters. I loved the e-mails back and forth between them, they were a great mix of sexy and heartfelt feelings. I was glad when things were finally out in the open and they could take action on their feelings.

Loved this book! Jess Dee just has a way of giving a story that lets you want to be part of it! I always can picture myself as one of the characters!

Molly Harris has a HUGE crush on her BOSS and thank God she acts on it (accidentally) sending him a LOVE NOTE! and Dr. Sam finally lets himself feel what he has kept hidden.

This is everything and more! Absolute must read!

It was pretty well sent to the right/wrong person. One good thing and how sexy well written was it.
The good thing was the fact, how deep they felt for each other buried deep because it all started from being patient family to working relationship. And one little day dreaming and inadvertence lead to an open gate of more.

I have quickly become hooked by Jess Dee and this one lives up to everything you have come to love of her stories. It all starts from an erotic email that never should have been sent, but the results send Sam and Molly to finally admit to what they both have been hiding for years. The erotic emails are incredibly hot and will leave you wanting more...
