The unthinkable happens when the Punisher surrenders himself to police! The trial of the century begins as Frank Castle admits to murdering a district attorney! Is this the end of the Punisher's war on crime? There was a year when no one knew where he was. When Bullseye - the world's greatest assassin - simply vanished without a trace. In the glare of the white hot lights, no one noticed the lanky stranger with the rubber arm, throwing heat that could, well, take off a man's head. See, every man needs a challenge, a moment when he faces impossible odds, when he looks deep inside himself and sees what he's really made of. Bullseye's next pitch is one for the history books.TRIAL OF THE PUNISHER 1-2, PERFECT GAME 1-2, MATERIAL FROM DAREDEVIL 500

Two different tales collected here and one is below average and one is unreadable. First, Frank Castle turns himself in for a heinous murder and faces trial. The book is exactly what you expect when reading it and gives you nothing new for who Frank is. Punisher fans will probably like it because there's blood and guts for the sake of blood and guts but its not a good book. It does have some great art from Yu and Suayan. The second half of the book is about a time when Bullseye is board a decides to be a Major League Baseball pitcher. Its incredibly dumb, extremely boring, and I couldn't finish it and it was only two issues. The art was fine but the plot and layout was awful. This book is completely skippable.
1. The Punisher allows himself to be arrested in order to go on trial to... (REDACTED). Average to Below Average Punisher story.
2. Bullseye is contracted to assassinate a Major League pitcher, and decides to fulfill the contract by becoming a Major League pitcher himself. The implausible parts are thought through, though perhaps still implausible, but a fun story nevertheless. I really enjoyed this on, and it raises the book's overall average to 4 stars.
2 separate stories that are average at best. The punisher (my favourite character in all of fiction !) trial story was ok - maybe 3 stars but nothing to write home about. Bullseye story was instantly forgettable. Overall not really worth your time imo.
