As a huge fan of Conor Maynard, back when he released this book in 2013, I knew I wanted it! I had received this book as a present for Christmas 2013, and have only just got around to reading it - and I wish I read it sooner!
While a lot of the things talked about in the 96 pages of autobiography is already known to most Mayniacs, this book is an access all areas insight into Conor's rapid rise to fame and chart success. It covers everything from his younger days, right up to recording his second album.
My only complaint about this book is the length. 96 pages to tell a story of a life so far really isn't a lot, especially when you consider the fact Conor became a celebrity really quickly in his teenage years. I do appreciate that he's still young and probably hasn't got a lot of life stories to fill a 300 page autobiography (I also appreciate the fact Take Off is primarily about his quick rise to fame and is not an in depth life story), but a bulkier book would have been nice. Maybe some day he'll release another one, going into more depth? Who knows.
But either way, a really enjoyable quick read! I loved looking at all of the personal pictures from Conor's life too!
