Joe Vitale is a prolific author, speaker, and New Age guru. So, not everything that he churns out is going to be a hit, but he really missed the boat with this one. Sometimes during Instant Manifestation, I feel like he's on the mark with his thoughts, but then, in the next sentence almost, he goes off on a tangent about his car collection or another of his books/audio books/coaching programs, and he completely cancels any momentum that he built up.
Vitale is unapologetic about money, making money, and coming up with new mind games to attract money- so if that is the kind of mind-set that you're looking for, this is a great book for you.
In his book 10% Happier, Dan Harris had a very revealing meeting with Dr. Vitale. If Instant Manifestation left a bad taste in your mouth, I'd suggest reading Dan Harris for a literary shot of listerine and a non-self promotional perspective on self improvement.
Name dropping, blatant sales for other products, ego with a capital E. I have very much enjoyed listening to Joe Vitale in interview's in the past. This book would be great material for a hawker at a county fair. Relevant information intertwined within an infomercial
Joe Vitale, in this book, simplifies all the concepts of self-development: the law of attraction, how intentions work, counter-intentions, reality creation methods and more...
So I listened to the audio version of this book for “free” via my paid audio book subscription service. This gave me access to a catalogue of books like this one, as an additional perk. - to as well my paid books every month. (add me as a friend and send me a message if your interested in getting this too) …
But thankfully that was the case! As paying for this would have been more disappointing.
Don’t get me wrong the info is good and contains good self help principles which serve as useful reminders - but the constant self promotion and reference to buy other materials and books didn’t make the listening flow well.
Made it kinda annoying and distracting! This is more suited as perhaps a podcast series vs a book - as it’s kinda all over the place. But I guess it’s not too bad considering it didn’t cost anything - worth a passive listen in the background the least like a podcast :)

Despite excessive product placement and aggressive advertising, it was packed with useful information. Occasionally, Vitale goes into too much irrelevant details, which are harder to skip in the audio version, but it covers pretty much the most important points of law of attraction and manifestation.

Some gems in this but some parts felt like a drawn out marketing book for the author's other material (books, coaching courses). This is one of those books that would've been better off as an article.
Even though the author didn't go very deep into the techniques mentioned, to achieve a prosperous mind space, it was effective in outlining a curriculum for people who are serious about doing the work.
