The Joy of the Lord is Your Strength! We read this verse in the Bible, we hear about it in sermons, we even sing about it. But what does this really mean? Simply this: The devil can’t defeat a joyful believer! No matter how bleak your problem looks or how bad your circumstances are, if you can read your Bible, you can rejoice. And if you can rejoice, you are a candidate for victory! Are you tired of being discouraged in your walk with the Lord? Has your joy been left along the wayside somewhere? Be of good cheer! The powerful truths outlined in this book will help you find your joy and get you back on the track of being a victor instead of a victim! Satan wants your joy, and he wants it badly. Stop him in his tracks by learning: Stop being an open target for the enemy’s attacks. It’s time to turn the tables and put the enemy on the defense!
The Word of God holds God's power and it brings joy, comfort, love and lots more to those who receive it and proclaim it.
Whenever we receive God's word we get hold of His power and then we become a threat to Satan. Now that we're a threat to Satan, he wants to steal God's word from our hearts by throwing at us problems, worries, fears.
People tend to ask God "why is that until we have received your word only then do problems come?" There are only two things that can happen... Leave God or grow stronger in Him.
What people usually don't see is that whenever we have God's word we are a threat to Satan. They don't know that Satan wants to steal God's word by deceiving us using bad circumstances.
At Job 5:22 is says "At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh."
We should rejoice whatever happens, trusting God that He will deliver us. "Amidst affliction yet will I rejoice" was written in Habakkuk 3:18 1 Thessalonians 5:16 says "Be joyful always." Let us always rejoice in God for He has overcome, He is victorious.
Satan wants to deceive us, but he doesn't know that his day is coming. "The Lord laughs at him; for the day is coming." - Psalms 37:13 Do not fear Satan, and don't let him steal your joy. Remember he doesn't know how to handle a joyful believer. It drives him crazy.
We win by not allowing Satan to get our joy whatever bad things he throws at us. When you are at your lowest point, where you feel like you can't do it anymore. Don't give up, Satan has already thrown his best shot at you. If you choose to stand and rejoice in God, you won.
"Rejoice, again I say rejoice!" - Philippians 4:4 "The joy of the Lord is my strength" - Nehemiah 8:10
“Laughter is a powerful force against the wiles of the enemy. Satan doesn't know how to handle a person who takes his abuse and laughs it off.”
“Satan is after the Word in your heart. You are no threat to him until you get God's Word in your heart. Then you become dangerous to him. Why? Because the Word of God is the power of God.”
“Satan can't take your joy if you're not willing to let him have it. If you will study your Bible very closely, you will find that God has provided every possible avenue for you to live victoriously. If you don't, it's your fault. You have nobody to blame but yourself.”
“You know, it is amazing to me that a lot of Christians are still praying for power when it's right in front of them all the time. The Word of God is the power of God unto salvation.”
2021: This book is a gem! full of revelations. I highly recommend it to every christian.
I loved this book so much and throughout my time reading it I can definitely tell that the devil was mad about me doing so and that he was trying to steal my joy as the author has pointed out. I would definitely recommend everyone to read this book and put things in it to practice.
Phenomenal book! Very quick read and filled with ground breaking truths that we need as believers to walk in the full authority and inheritance Christ has for us.
Very straightforward book that is easy to read and understand. Although I don’t agree with every aspect of the book the principles taught in it are sound.
This book has helped me soooo much to understand things I knew about but didn't understand why things may happen the way they do. A necessary read for any christian or even non-christian wanting to learn what it is to be a christian.
This was a re-read for me. This is a bible based uplifting book about prosperity and how we lose it or gain it by our will. If we are following God's laws and we stand on his word we will prosper in every way. This is a down to earth how to keep Satan from stilling your joy.
such an impact full book about reviling the tricks of satan. I've a better understanding about divine health, prosperity and joy now after reading this book. highly recommend.
