Povestirile lui Silviu Gherman se desfasoara intre o inocenta calculata si un absurd de tip Mrozek. Nu povestitorul este cel care creeaza morala, el doar ii asigura cititorului cadrul in care si-o poate crea singur, fara insa a lasa naratiunea „suspendata”. Dimpotriva, „golurile” pe care naratorul ne invita sa le umplem sint tocmai stilpii de rezistenta ai unei constructii epice in care umorul, ironia si autoironia asigura placerea lecturii, iar personajele si situatiile create ne surprind permanent si ne provoaca.
„Povestirile mele sint autobiografice, fantastice, inspirate din vise, povestiri in care m-am lamentat si povestiri in care pur si simplu m-am jucat. In timp ce scriu sint constient ca cineva se uita peste umarul meu si am grija intotdeauna sa-i ofer mai mult decit e dispus sa dea. In acest fel, pot sa ma recitesc cu placere.” (Silviu Gherman)

Silviu Gherman is a Romanian comedian and author. He has written several fiction books and has occasionally published essays in publications such as Dilema Veche. He has also published poetry online under the pseudonym "Leon Wahl". After gaining notoriety through his YouTube channel, Gherman started doing stand-up shows in Bucharest and around Romania. He is also half of the electronic-rock group Mes Quins, along with Ovidiu Chihaia.

If you enjoy Silviu`s comedic sketches you will enjoy these stories as well as they are written in the same style and with the same form of humour. While entertaining, the book lacks in artistic value, as the author himself admits.
