Great Idea, like the different narratives of the story. Well thought out, developed it's ideas to the fullest, but at the same time kept some mystery.

Breakaway and Tearaway had a huge HUGE impact on me when i read this as a tween. I think about this book a lot! And the image of that female protagonist with the shaved head in the shape of the continent, and the male protag commenting over the series howbits growing out and what country she scratches has stayed with me! I need a copy of this book because i read from my school library but this out if print!

I remember that the author Phil Cummings came to my school and at the end I asked him how much money he made, got a glare from my teacher and then he answered earnestly.
But anyway, this book (and Tearaway) were amazing and personal favourites and I’m going to hunt down a copy at some point because I have no idea where my copy got to
