HEARTLESS, by Catou Martine

Heather Redmond spent three years hiding from the world, her innocence lost and faith shattered.

She’s mastered the art of forgetting the past. Now she’s ready to face the future. College is on the horizon, and she’s enjoying a quiet summer in LA.

The last thing she’s prepared for is a hot guy jumping into her convertible while she's stopped at a traffic light.

Josh Hansen is Heather's opposite. He's fearless and sexy, racing through life on his motorcycle. And he always takes a leap when Fate gives him a wink. He can't resist the wide-eyed, pretty blonde who seems afraid of the world.

Josh is determined to push Heather's boundaries, body and soul. She's afraid of her awakening feelings, and wants to take things one step at a time, but Josh isn’t used to driving in the slow lane, and soon they are speeding into passion and love.

When their darkest secrets come to light, Heather and Josh are forced to confront the painful past and either find forgiveness, or lose their love forever.

I like to write about discovering the true power hidden in pleasure and living with an open heart.

I love to travel, spending as much time as I can in Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles.

I believe stories have the power to change hearts and lives. Love, eroticism, and sensuality provide the greatest inspiration for the heart. When we claim our pleasure, we activate our power and embolden our hearts to create lasting change in our lives and the world.

★★★★! Heartless is the beautiful & heart-warming yet heart-wrenching romance, between Josh & Heather, who have been through more than their fair share of heart ache and trauma in their young lives!

“Josh’s appearance in my life was making me feel new things. I liked how I was feeling but my feelings scared me, too. Josh made me feel things I hadn’t known I could feel. The only words I could think of were fluttery, tingly, excited, scared, thrilled, curious, hot, wet, weak and strong at the same time, safe, too, but also like I was dancing at the edge of danger.”

Heartless is the story of Heather Redmond who, three years prior, tragically had become an orphan and moved to Los Angeles to live with her aunt and uncle.. The details of her tragedies and unspeakable horror she suffered will be revealed throughout the story. In the opening of the story she has decided it’s time she starts living again. A chance encounter with Joshua Hansen, Josh where they both feel an instant attraction, blossoms into a romance as Josh pursues he intently, but cautiously. Josh believes in fate and Heather believes in astrology while the story believes in them.

Follow them in their budding romance as Heather continues her counseling and recovery, but struggles with opening up to Josh about her past. We soon learn that Josh also is damaged, with a checkered past that he rather keep a secret. Josh and Heather both have been through so much in their young lives it will hurt when everything comes to the surface and their lives go free-falling coming to a crashing halt. Expect to be shocked, even appalled. Nothing is as it seems, bit I can assure you neither one of them is heartless.

Heartless is told mostly from Heather’s POV, but sprinkled throughout we are treated to passages from Josh’s POV.

 photo MartineHeartlessHerobySueBee_zps3a74bb05.jpg

Five words to describe Josh: Noble, progressive, practical, rebellious and damaged.

“I haven’t had the smoothest life but somehow I’ve ended up an optimist. I figure if I keep believing Fate is good to me then it will be. Like Heather’s ‘fake it til you make it’ attitude. You have to know what you want before what you want knows how to find you.”

 photo MartineHeartlessHeroinebySueBee_zpsca238400.jpg

Five words to describe Heather: Resilient, shy, traumatized, naïve and strong.

“You are divine,” he whispered. That’s exactly how I felt. Otherworldly and ethereal, above the clouds, beyond the possibility of pain or sadness. I felt cleansed and completely new.”

Ms. Martine is an excellent storyteller and both Josh and Heather are very compelling. That said, I might have wished a little more time was spent on ending. It felt a bit glossed over. Story left them in a good place, but author has informed me there is a chance of a sequel seeing this young couple further into their future. I would welcome that!

“Thank you, Ocean,” I said to the sea. “Thank you for rolling relentlessly around the world and showing us how everything’s connected. Thank you, Stars,” I said looking up. “For shining down from such a distance. You show us how small we are and yet how magnificent it is to be alive. Thank you, Earth, for holding everything all together and giving us a place to walk, and sleep, and love.” I squeezed Josh’s hand. “And thank you, Josh, for being earth and water and stardust and for coming to me in the uniqueness of yourself.”

This was just okay. The heroine overusing "beach girl" became too much. It was a forgettable read. I think the writing style made it hard for me to connect. I loved the premise, but in the end it did not work for me. The big revolution how they were connected was predictable and no surprise. I just did not understand what the hero saw in the heroine from the beginning. I found her okay and a bit annoying.

My opinion. Reading is subjective. You may love it.

3.5 Stars!

This one just okay for me. When I started I thought it really had some potential....and I did finish it. But I did skim quite a bit starting at about the 50% mark.

I'm not really sure what I didn't like. The storyline was pretty good. Not your typical storyline.

Heather moves to LA to live with her aunt and uncle after the death of her parents. The death really affected Heather and she's kind of closed off that part of her life. She meets Josh one afternoon leaving work when he literally jumps in her convertible.

Heather was pretty skittish around guys especially....but Josh won't give up and he kind of worms his way inside. I did like Josh....and Heather for the most part. Heather doesn't want to share her past with Josh....choosing rather to forget about it then forgive it.

Josh realizes he is connected to Heather's past....and once she discovers this Heather is forced to face what happened. Will Josh and Heather's "love" for each other be strong enough to overcome her past??

This was a definite case of insta-love and I found a lot of the dialogue to be overdone and a bit cheesy. I will say the sex was pretty hot despite some of the cheesy sex talk.

Overall, this was just okay for me. It was a standalone with a HEA.

Let me start by saying this book was so emotional, I felt so terrible for Heather this entire book. I cannot believe what she had to go through and can't believe stuff like this actually happens, it's sickening. I'm glad some people paid for what they did. I just feel horrible Heather has to learn to trust and open up again. I'm so thankful for Miranda, she was such a good therapist, if I ever need one, I want one like her. Haha. From the beginning how Josh and Heather meets is HILARIOUS, oh the balls some people have. Haha. Josh is a real riot, I love him to pieces. Heather is a beautiful girl, who is deeply hurt and has issues, of course she would, who wouldn't after what she has been through? I was happy Josh and Heather took their relationship slow, most books speed everything up. I really enjoyed them taking their time and he slowly, but surely opened Heather up, brang her to life, brought down some of those walls and helped her realize there is more to life and love. I loved how when they were first intimate he showed her not all men are douche bags. I really loved that part of the book, may I add that scene and the phone scene was extremely sexy and hot, may of turned me on JUST a little ;-) Well done Catou! I was also more happy with how Heather felt after that experience. Cleansed and in control more of herself, her feelings, her life and relationship. I thoroughly enjoyed the POV switching, I loved reading what was going through both of their heads, I feel we really needed that, especially towards the end of the book. LOVED the pool scene, those two are so adorable. The big shocker towards the book I kind of guessed, I had a few ideas. If you all pay attention you will also probably be able to figure it out. Just pay attention and enjoy this amazing book, that is all I can really say about that. The ONLY thing I did not enjoy about this book, was all the God talk. I am not religious, I do not believe in God. That is my own personal thing. Books with that kind of stuff have always turned me off, this was differen't though. It does NOT take away from the story and it is needed to restore faith in both Josh and Heather, all of the crap these two have went through. I'm happy that everyone has something they believe in, they needed that and we all need that and I feel like they got that back at the end of the book. Now Geena, I loved her. She was a hoot, so fun and sweet. Loved her to pieces. This entire book was AMAZING, such a wonderful book. Catou did a phenomenal job, so proud of her! Must read book ladies, don't forget the hankies ;-)

Some quotes I loved:

"You, like, kind of did something to me and I'm curious to know what. And why."

"Is that a weird way of saying you thought about me over the weekend?"

"Fake it till you make it."

"I thought you'd feel more comfortable walking together first." (LOVE JOSH!)

"Promise me you'll never add on the ooh-ah. Unless, of course, I make you see stars or fireworks one day."

"Equals two people whose stars have comically aligned for a purpose greater than either them knows. Yet."

J"I told you. Fate brought us together."
H"I think the stars should get the credit."

"I do. And I give you the green light."

"And thank you, Josh, for being earth and water and stardust and for coming to me in the uniqueness of yourself."

"No, not exactly. More like, what happens is meant to happen. Like the two of us meeting."

"If you call me Doctor I might start getting ideas about examining you. Heat stroke can be quite serious you know."

"But I like it. I love it. Your mind is alive, always working, making connections, coming up with new ideas. You're smart, Heather. Smart and strong."

"It's the stuff underneath that gets revealed over time that means the most, that makes the outer beauty glow from the inside. Knowing that I know how strong and smart you are makes you even more beautiful than what any passerby notices at first glances. That's what I love."

"Oh my honor. You only have to be initiated once."

"Uh, you don't cook. You're telling me not to drive home in the case I fall asleep on my bike and crash but then you plan to poison me in the morning with your cooking?"

"Believe me. Everything I'm experiencing right now is unforgettable."

"You may not believe in anything but the stars, but I hope you'll make room in your heart to believe how much I love you."

"Until I met you, I felt so lost, Heather. We found each other, don't you see. We found each other so we could both be whole again."

"But if you'd never met Jim, Josh wouldn't have been born, and then we'd both be missing something in our hearts."

"Today, the standard for good-looking is alive."

"He found me actually." In more ways than one. I guess we found each other."

Maybe there's no such thing as Fate or the power of the stars or even a God. Maybe it's just us, and we managed to find each other .

Read a book with a traumatizing history as a background can be a difficult read. Even more for people that hasn't experienced any traumtic like rape, abortion, a sudden death of a loved one or something alike. I haven't had any trauma (that I'm aware of) so every book that has a background with abuse hits me in a different way. Heartless touched my heart in a way I can't even put in words.

This book represents the idea of hating yourself in a way that's so heartbreaking and touching that you can't help identify with the characters. I cried when Heather went to see Miranda every single time. Those therapy sessions were the hardest moments for me in the book because you could see the vulnerability of the characters in every single word the said. Another emotion represented very well is shame. The kind of shame that consumes you inside and makes you think different about your actions. Heather's shame was so strong that it was keeping her of living her life to the fullest. She didn't want to confess all her "sins" because she thougth that she was doing something wrong.

The best thing about the book was the acceptance of Josh in Heather's life. Sometimes you thought that Heather won't let him in and that she would never forgive herself to let the love in.

You have to know that you want before what you want knows how to find you.

And what really captured my heart was that this was a real kind of love, and with that I mean that they accepted each other flaws. Love can't be real if you don't have to work to earn it. Heather and Josh knew in the very first moment that they were made for each other but that doesn't mean that they didn't have to take emotional journeys to truly capture each other heart and I loved every single moment of those sacrifices.

My words to define this book would be: rollercoster of emotions.

This book floored me! Never did I expect the plot twists and turns that happened to happen. I thought this was going to be a lovie-dovie kind of book that makes you sigh “ahhhh” and go to sleep with this happiness in your heart. Take this as my warning; it is not one of those books.

Heather has some hard-core secrets that plaques her every day thoughts. As the reader, you slowly start to see them crawl up from the back of her mind and haunt her. At first, I had no idea what was going on. I expected boy meets girl, they fall in love, something happens to pull them apart for a good minute but they eventually get back together. While Heartless follows this guideline, it pulls out all the dark stops that one can imagine. These twist and turns are what kept me interested and put this book higher than all the other ‘fall in love’ stories.

I felt so bad for Heather once her secrets starting coming into the light. She had such a crappy childhood that I wanted her life to be happy at this moment but the world just wasn’t giving her that option. So I ached with her when things got hard. I thought Josh was this wonderful guy who could pull her out of this dark whole, but then you find out about Josh’s past and your heart no longer aches for only Heather but for Josh as well.

Do you believe in Fate, a higher power, or the power of the Cosmos? Regardless, this love story will make you a believer that two halves of a whole will always seek the other out until they are united again. This tender and gripping story takes us through the journey of Josh and Heather as they are getting ready to embark into adult life and shaping their futures. What transpires is a love story where two souls that are meant to be together fight for this right against events of the past. Quote:"Healing leaves a mark because damage is real, but it isn't the end, it means we get a second chance."

This book has some of the most beautiful and tastefully erotic love scenes I have read in a long while. Absolutely a must read!

Josh is extremely sexy and sweet. He can hop in my front seat anytime. Heather has been through so much and my heart is with her.

Read my full review of the book at seriesousbookreviews.com! Spoiler Free!

I really enjoyed this book! I'm always skeptical when books are free because they are often riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes but this one wasn't. There was the occasional word missing from a sentence or a typo here and there but nothing that made me frustrated--they all just seemed like harmless, unintentional typos. It wasn't the greatest book ever but I liked the story and I easily got hooked. I only planned to read a chapter or two in the morning and then ended up spending the whole morning reading it!

Part of the reason I got hooked was the mystery to the characters. Both have secretive pasts that slowly get revealed as you read. I also liked what the backstories were. I haven't read a book that focused on that specific type of situation (without giving anything away I will say it does talk about religion and faith) before so I thought it was really refreshing to read and I think it was done tastefully (meaning it wasn't trying to shove a specific viewpoint down your throat or was offensive in anyway). I will warn potential readers that there is some heavy subject matter in this novel that not everyone will feel comfortable reading so it might not be for everyone.

I had the wonderful opportunity to receive an ARC of this book and I'm so grateful that I did. I loved Catou's previous series, London Lace, and I was very excited to read this new book! And let me say that I was not disappointed! This was such an AMAZING book!!! Josh and Heather are two of my favorite characters! Heather has been through so much in her life and she was finally ready to progress into her future. Then Josh comes along and throws a wrench into that plan and boy was it good! I loved how Josh was introduced to us-it was so awesome and daring. He helped Heather pick up the pieces of her life and made her stronger. And in turn, she helped him move on from his past as well. Just like it was iterated in the book, fate had brought them together. The bond and love that they developed for each other emanated from the pages of the book. It was seen how they were made to be there for each other and how they helped each other to move on from all the trauma in their past. This was a story about two young people falling in love and healing each other and moving on together. I couldn't put this book down. The story grabbed me and I wanted to keep reading until the last page.

This book was beautifully written. From the plot to the characters to the HOT sex scenes, everything was wonderful. This is definitely a MUST-READ book! One of the best books that I have ever read! I loved it very much!

Heartless starts out with Heather driving in her Aunt's convertible on her way home from work. As she gets to a stop light she hears the sound of a motorcycle approaching. Then she notices the motorcycle to the right of her with two guys on it. Both of them are staring at her, so since she has that "fake it till you make it" going on inside her head she smiles back at them. Then surprising Heather, the one in front gets off the bike and hops into her car with her right before the light turns green.

From that moment on Heather and Josh start a crazy romance that reveals so much about each other's pasts, and how maybe fate, or the stars brought them to be together. Heather's parents died three years ago, and now she's living with her aunt and uncle. And Josh lives with his mother, and his dad also died a while ago. Heather has some major secrets about her past, and when the are finally revealed it could make or break Josh and Heather's relationship.

I liked the start of the book when Josh jumps in Heather's car. That was seriously funny. But after that I felt like the book was just okay. It had a nice story to it, and good characters. I just didn't feel a connection to it. But overall I did enjoy it, and it was a nice read.

I really enjoyed this story of Heather and Josh. I appreciated how she was still healing and he was patient with her as she progressed. I didn't see the two main twists that the author added *****spoilers ******. I just can't do this review justice without spoilers. I knew early on that he tragedy was going to factor into their relationship and I kept trying to tie together the timelines of his kidnapping by his father and his fathers death and her tragedy but never did I guess that his father was the monster. For all of her discussions about the tragedy and what she admitted to holding back from her therapist but never did I expect that she had been raped. I questioned the role of her therapist in the book - there were a couple of times I felt she should have called her therapist and didn't. And I really didn't like when she had invited Josh and his mother into a therapy session where she didn't know what was being discussed and what would be revealed through the hypnosis. Josh needed therapy himself, not to be subjected to what he heard about his father in that way. I was so afraid she was going to lose him but glad that he settled things in the end and they started working on a new relationship together.

What can I say about this book.... maybe it was addicting? I couldn't put it down.

Heather has had a horrible past and is emotionally damaged. After the death of her parents, she went to live with her aunt and uncle who have left her home alone for the summer while they travel to Italy. She doesn't remember everything from her childhood and is working through things with her therapist. You learn bits and pieces throughout the story... the big shocker coming near the end.

I love how Heather and Josh meet. I would have panicked if that ever happened to me, just like Heather did. It was definitely memorable.

Somehow, Josh realized that Heather needs to be handled carefully. He is so kind and considerate of her. You can tell he really has her best interest in mind. First, he finds out he has a connection to Heather's past. Then.... he's dealt an incredible blow. I can't imagine either of them having to deal with the situation. Both of them have to deal with the fall out of the new development exposed during a therapy session.

I really enjoyed this book. I was addicted from the get go.

I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

I am a big fan of Catou Martine London Lace series when she told me about her new book I was extremely anxious to see what the book was about and let me tell you it is phenomenal. I am a true believer in FATE.
In this wonderful book we meet Heather who is coming of age and ready for the next chapter in her life. But Heather isn't your normal college bound young adult, she has obstacles in her life holding back along her journey she meets the handsome mysterious Josh who beneath his charms also has a rocky road in front of him. Along the way two young broken souls find within each other that they are each others missing puzzle piece and that together they are stronger and that their love is what can heal their past and that they can move on together.

Quote* Our love can be strong enough to face anything, if we can be strong enough to face the truth.

Quote #2*I am stronger than I thought, only I didn't know it until I met you. I didn't discover that strength until I... until I LOVED YOU.

I loved this book it had it all a couple your rooting for a love that defies all and two souls looking for their better half. This is definitely a must read book.

While trying to overcome the shadows of her past, Heather was living with her Aunt and Uncle in LA. You could tell right from the start that she is hiding from something terrible that has caused her to lose part of herself. I really enjoyed reading this book because we are able to watch as she grows back into her own. Taking back the control she thinks she has lost because of what happened to her.

Josh comes off as a playboy right from the start, but there is more to him than meets the eye. His character shows a lot of growth throughout the book and he is able to live up to the hero that Heather sees him as. He is trying to overcome his past as well, things that he doesn’t want to share with Heather, but knows that he must.

This whole book was an amazing read. It shows that the strength that people will come into when they least expect it. And it gives the reader that little boost of strength to face their problems, without having fear of the unknown.

I received an ARC from the author. After few pages, I liked what I was reading and I was hooked. It was a beautiful story. A story of pain, fear, trust, love and forgiveness. Heather and Josh were damaged by one person, a person who at the same time might have brought them together. They were made to heal each other from the pain that one person had caused them. It was difficult for Heather to trust again after trusting and looking up to someone who has betrayed you. But Josh was right! Their love is stronger and their willingness to forgive and forget their past brought them back together. Is it coincidence? Or fate? I think it doesn't matter what brought them together. What matters is that they fought against their demons. Everyone comes to our lives for a reason. Love is stronger than anything. Great job Catou! I loved it! I hope that there will be more of Heather and Josh. Maybe an epilogue? Or maybe a book 2?

This is the story of Heather & josh. They both had secrets from their pasts. Both of them had problems with faith. Josh jumps in Heathers convertible one day and she turns him down on his come ons. Heather has had a very tragic past. She grew up in a religious cult group believing all of the things she was told. Terrible things happened and she survived. 3 years later she is living with her aunt and uncle in LA and has to learn to live and cope with the past. She meets Josh they basically save each other. They are keeping secrets from each other. Josh discovers hers and then tells her about his. She flips out and gets set back in her recovery. Heather has to find the strength to be strong and move on from the past but will it be with Josh? This book was heart wrenching. The things people go through and find the strength to survive is just amazing. Things like this really happen and it's just unreal to think about. I enjoyed this book.

Such a beautiful love story!

I received an ARC from the author and so glad I got the opportunity to read this early. I was completely hooked as I started to read the love story build between Heather and Josh. I loved how the two first met. It was both crazy and hot!

As I read the story, I saw how the two are meant for one another. Josh realized how he felt about Heather and how he realize he had to take a slow approach to not to scare her off. Heather had such a horrible past which does connect with Josh's past. With Josh in Heather's life, she became a much happier and confident person. The two needed one another.

I was really rooting for Josh and Heather as I was reading. Both characters are so likeable, that you wanted nothing but the great things for both of them. What a wonderful story Catou!

This book did a number on me ~ I have never read anything quite like it. The history and background of the characters were based on a topic you do not often read about (or maybe it was just me) but it truly made the story richer and the love story even more heartwarming.

Everyone has a certain amount of baggage in their lives but Heather has had more than her share or that anyone should ever have to bear. Josh comes into her life like a whirlwind and together they make one another stronger and healthier. Was it fate? The stars? Divine intervention (my vote!) that made them find one another? I liked that this was left up to the reader's perspective....

What a read, what a couple, what a story - Catou, this was a hell of a ride and I thank you for sharing it with me as an ARC. Looking forward to your next book!

How does someone move on from tragedy and heartache? For Heather it seems the Impossible. Trying her damnedest to move forward independently with anything that might resemble strength and courage, Heather is about to be thrown in a loop.

All her methodical therapy and relaxation techniques get thrown out the door when Josh literally jumps into her life. He is is everything she is not, spontaneous, fearless (well so he wants us to believe) and totally into giving Heather her heart's desire. The question is, can Heather open her heart? Can both their dark secrets stay hidden? If they are released then is there any chance to move forward?

A beautiful story about learning to Trust, Forgive and most importantly Learning to Love and be Loved. A powerful read and one that you just should not miss out on!

This is a story about a broken girl Heather who is trying to piece herself together after a tragedy in the past. She is cautious and trying to heal herself enough to go out on her own.

She is in the midst of this when Josh jumps into her car at a stop light. Talk about a great first impression, right???!! This encounter leads to more chance encounters and Heather finally opening herself up to love for the first time in years.

This is a love story that came from a tragedy. It will break your heart knowing what Heather and Josh have been through and how they are working through this and encourage you to know that love can develop from this. No cliff hanger in this one.

I received a free copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

This book drove me crazy. Let me explain, I started reading this and right away
I just had to know what the tragedy was that Heather was trying to over come. It
made me crazy that life was happening around me and I couldn't just sit and read
it straight thru. I rushed thru it in order to see what the secrets were, so if
course I'll re-read this. It was such an emotional book. I was happy, sad, and a
bit nervous. It was a shame when the book ended, I could have read much more
about these two. However this is not a cliffhanger, the story comes to a very
nice conclusion. I read London Lace and as much as I loved that series it
doesn't even compare to Heartless. This shows the depth of her talent as a
writer.

sweet and soulful. its amazing how some people can tuck abuse (wether its mental, physical or emotional) away and not remember the horrible feelings....but then certian things trigger those emotions. Ms. Martine did a wonderful job of showing how this happens and how strong some people are. I liked Heather and I liked Josh, they were good together. She was skiddish and unsure and he was patient and soothing. beautiful really, the way their two personalities fit together. a story about fate and tramatic abuse is always a heartwrenching. especially in this situation. I enjoyed the book rather well, the deep, soul searching, had my mind wandering and I'm thinking again about fate and if it truely does exisit! 4 beautiful, anything is possible shiny stars!

Heartless was not a bad book. The "tortured heroine" angle is always interesting, if a bit heart braking. And this book threw in "hero with a secret" for good measure. I liked the back story, but I just didn't feel the chemistry between the H and h. It felt like they were just in love with nothing leading up to it. There was so much focus on her healing from her traumatic past, that there was no time to focus on a budding relationship. Some authors can pull off the "love at first sight" story line or the "instant soul mates" plot successfully, but IMO, this author is not one of them. But it was not a waste. I'd recommend it if you're short on cash and looking for a quick read.

I enjoyed this story. Immediately most girls could identify with Heather, bravado upfront whilst insecure underneath. The drawn out reasons of a tragedy that had happened in her life were expertly entwined with the quick "falling in love" with the hunky biker boy Josh. Without her support structure in place Heather learns to trust & love. Occasionally I found the switch in characters perspectives a little disjointed. The roughness of Josh' s self-talk felt wrong even more so with his speech about sex, to me it didn't blend true with the story so in parts ruined those chapters. Worth a read & a few shocks along the way too!

3.5 stars rounded up to 4. I liked this book but found it a little over the top at times. The heroine had a haunted past when she lived with her mother in a religious cult and is now trying to come to grips in dealing with her tragedies and abuse. She meets Josh who is kind and gentle with her and knows she is hiding her past but loves her enough to try and help her overcome it. There are some fairly predictable plot developments, some that kind of strain credibility, but overall a good read that eventually leaves you with a good feeling about overcoming your past.

I think one of my favorite things about this book was Josh (not Joshua, lol). When I read the synopsis of this book I though Josh's character was going to be another "bad boy." Not that there is anything wrong with bad boys cause trust me I love me some bad boys. But every once in a while it nice to get a change up. SO I found Josh's character refreshing. Yes, he drives a motorcycle and does some crazy spontaneous things. But he really is a sweet mommas boy. Great love story, great characters, great read.
