Amanda (Mandi) Jenkins, a recent college graduate, who has just inherited an art gallery in New York when her mother died, wasn't ready for a relationship. Not only was she grieving her only parent's death, but she was way over her head running an art gallery on her own.
Sophia Leon, who was her ex-roommate in college, only wanted what was best for the two people she loved the most - her grieving friend Mandi and her workaholic and recently cuckold bitter confirmed bachelor brother Sergio.
In the biggest social charitable auction in New York, conveniently hosted by Sophia, Mandi is placed on display for auction as a desirable bachelorette. What she doesn't know is that Sergio and his friends from his gentleman club, known by all ladies in the know, as the Bad Boys Billionaire Bachelors Club, appropriately named for the most elusive eligible bachelors in the world, would all be there.
A reluctant bachelorette, a bitter confirmed billionaire bachelor, hot sex, and scheming matchmaking friends make Bidding for a Billionaire a fun sexy romance that is a must read for anyone who enjoy getting swept off their feet sexy romances involving alpha males and women who challenge them.
Hi, I'm Rachel Angel, USA Today Bestselling author of the Kingmakers of Kingsbury Series, Bad Boy Royals of Kingsbury Prep Series, Cruel Princes of Wyvern All-Boys Academy, Fallen Fae Academy Series, HOUSE Series, Heartbreak Falls Series, and the BBBBC (Bad Boys Billionaire Bachelors Club) Series and some upcoming books in the New Adult Contemporary genre. I love reading and writing books with bad boys and the strong women who challenge them!
Amanda (Mandi) Jenkins is college graduate who took over her mother's business after she lost her mother to cancer. She is now the owner of her mother's Art gallery. She goes through the motions of life somehow without any zeal and realises she has lost her spark to live.
In comes her best friend and ex-roommate Sophia Leon who wants nothing more than to get her best friend back on her feet and with a bang. And she also has an ulterior motive..All i can say is that it involves some hot guys & an auction.
The story is nothing new. I find the concept of auction being over used if you ask me. It lost its appeal after the first 10 books as all the plots just get monotonous and predictable.
This was a really good short story. It centers around Mandie and Sergio. Sergio is Mandie's best friends brother. They have been attracted to each other for years, but never dated. Mandie goes to an benefit auction and is the highest bidder for a date with Sergio. They are going to Rome for a week which is her date. Sergio is a self made Billionaire. The week turns into work and pleasure for Mandie as she meets Sergio's family and stays at their villa. Please read this book it is very well written and it is a good read
This book annoyed the crap out of me, and I can unfortunate say this was one of the worst books I have ever read. It was horrible! I’m not even sure where to begin. The “club” has a ridiculous name and just contributes to the eye rolling. The characters are very unlikable. He (Sergio) is an asshole and a workaholic. She (Mandi) is a desperate, weak, and jealous woman. The scene on the plane where she had her dream made me roll my eyes in disbelief. Some of the dialogue was out of place and irrelevant (to tell the woman she speaks English really well....really?). Mandi doesn’t trust Sergio, so much so where she snoops on his phone. And after finding out he has been talking to his ex, she blatantly has sex with Sergio to tell him she loves him because she’s curious how he will react. When he doesn’t respond the way she’d like, and she sees him talking to his ex, she flips out and has his friend fly her back home. And then almost has sex with the friend to forget about the guy she supposedly loves. Of course they are caught and Sergio punches the other guy out cold...and Sergio and Mandi have sex right in front of the knocked out friend..? Oh, and his ex is pregnant with what may be his child. But only for a few pages - then it’s revealed that the ex lied about it. But that’s ok because after the two weeks of this trusting and honest relationship between Mandi and Sergio, they are getting married!.... wow. This entire book was just ridiculously bad. Don’t waste your time. I realize this review may be a bit harsh, and maybe it’s a good book to some people, but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!

I always love a good romance with a happily ever after and this book provided me with that after, of course, the drama of an ex with issues, trust issues and all the other normal issues you find in the road to love and marriage. The author did an amazing job, as she usually does, and I look forward to more from her on the fall of the next BBBBC!
Mandi inherits a art gallery from her mother she is not loving the idea of running and feels insecure about her knowledge of art. Her friend invites her to a charity event and she finds herself in a bidding war for Sergio. Soon her world changes
“It feels great to have that chapter of my life done with. On to a new one and certainly a more exciting one,"--“Are you hungry?” Sergio asked.
“I am hungry. It smells so good. This is incredible, Sergio.”
“I have something I need to talk to you about before we eat,” Sergio said.
He suddenly looked nervous and that made Mandi feel a bit nervous too. She couldn’t imagine what he had to tell her.
“What is it?” she asked.
“Why don’t you sit down first.”
“Okay,” Mandi said. Sergio guided her to the edge of the bed and sat her down. Then he knelt one knee down on the floor and leaned in toward her.
She was staring at his eyes, trying to read them and see what was going on, so she didn’t see his one hand pull out something from inside his pocket.
Sergio placed the deep blue crushed velvet box in front of him so Mandi could see it and slowly opened the top. Mandi was staring with wide and curious eyes, not able to say a word. Her heart was pounding and now her hands were shaking as much as Sergio’s. Inside that box was a beautiful diamond ring and she could tell that it was very old. It was a square cut with small diamonds surrounding it and absolutely amazing—the most beautiful ring she’d ever seen.
Sergio licked his lips and took her hands in his. “Mandi, I love you so much and I am hoping that you will make me the luckiest man in the world and marry me. Will you?”
Mandi’s eyes swelled up and she couldn’t contain her excitement. The answer was easy. She shouted out , “Yes,” and lunged toward Sergio, kissing his face passionately and toppling him over to the ground.
He laughed and then asked if he could put the ring on her finger before he got distracted with anything else. Mandi shook her head and extended out her left ring finger. Sergio slid the ring on and Mandi assessed its beauty upon her still tanned skin.
“It fits perfectly,” she said.
“As it should because you are perfect for me,” Sergio replied.--It isn’t every day that two people can find love and just know that it is meant to be. It changes everything and in one instant you swear off what you always believed would be your destiny and embrace the beautiful road ahead…the road that is traveled with someone you love so much and will not accept living without. Today we have all laid witness to such a grand love. Sergio and Mandi show all of us that there is no need for good luck when you find the person you want to be with. It all aligns and is instantly beautiful and brilliant.--
This book was a pleasant surprise. gallery owner mandi Jenkins has known known Sergio Leon, brother to her beat friend Sofia for quite a few years and has always found him attractive but his billionaire playboy ways always kept her away. She was not his type until a benefit put on by Sofia brings the 2 together after a heated auction with an evil ex girlfriend for a "date" meaning a week long trip to Rome. At the benefit Sergio notices Mandi as a grown up HOT woman that he is more than happy to downs some time with her. And it begins on a private jet with Mandi having a little dream that seems a little too real when she is woken by a flustered Sergio after she all but dry humps the poor guy. After their arrival to Sergio's family vila spending time with him becomes alot more important to mandi. She slowly realises she loves him and he seems the sane way until she mentions those 3 little words and Sergio freaks leaving her basically alone. Mandi refuses to stay with him and finds solace in another of the billionaire bachelor's club member Leroy and asks him to help her return to New York and her normal life. He jumps at the chance because he likes her to. on their return she finds she is followed home by a pissed off Sergio with she is making b out with Leroy. punches are thrown, decisions are made and 2 fall in love. Read it to find out who... This was a great fast moving book that had me hooked from the beginning. Looking forward to the next is this series.
There was a good story, but on top of it not being consistent it doesn't flow well. In the gist of the book i liked it and would read something from this author again. I just couldn't get past things in this book. For instance, Mandi is still dealing with the passing of her mother and the confusion of her career, you get hints of that throughout the book but nothing that makes it relate-able, just passing statements. Her attraction to Sergio is something shes hidden for years, and at an event he notices her for the first time. Their relationship starts interesting enough but i feel like it doesn't develop. You don't see why they are so in tuned with each other and it gets serious before you know it. When Olivia gets into the picture i feel an issue that should have been more of a turning point was brushed off.
I like the story, it just felt more like an outline to a store then the real thing. I want to try out the rest of the series but for the price it doesnt seem worth it to me.
Mandi is working her socks off trying to make the art gallery she inherited from her mother work, leaving her no time for a social or love life, her best friend Sophia steps in and before Mandi knows what's hit her she's dressed up and on her way to a charity auction where Sophia talks her into bidding on Sergio, Sophia's handsome billionaire brother who Mandi has always had a thing for. The date is a week in Rome which sounds romantic but can she keep Sergio away from work and the all the incessant phone calls, can this week turn into a relationship or is Sergio still in love with Olivia the woman who broke his heart. This is a nice quick easy read, nothing new but a nice romantic story a bit rushed in places and could do with proof reading.
I havent even finished this book. im new to criticising books but wow honestly I really dont know much more to say then this book had a really good story line BUT the third person story really didnt do it for me although I loved the story line and how it goes I really would say this would have been 10 times better if it was a first person story. it would have been better if Mandi was telling the story or Sergio or even both but I just felt so out of it like sitting in a class room and being told out of someone elses perspective what this book is about and I hated that. this would have been really good if the author could have made the people seem like real people and not just a story you tell your friend.
This book was an okay short read. The relationship went fast between Mandi and Sergio. Mandi bids on her friends brother Sergio and they go away to Italy and have a week arrangment. Then you bring in the ex and it took off from there. Olivia came to get Sergio and when they walk away from them, Mandi leaved Italy with one of Sergios friends and ends up almost sleeping with him before Sergio comes and beats him up then Sergio and Mandi have sex. Really!!! Ridculou, Easy quick read.

The story itself was a good story. I just struggled with the style of writing. I couldn't get attached to the characters. Most of the time it felt more like a good outline for a story but not enough depth or something to really hook you in. A book has to be really horrible or really out of my subject or genre comfort zone to stop reading it. I finished this book, but wanted to stop multiple times.
I enjoyed this book. I read a lot of ebooks fast and this one made me want to linger a little longer since I absolutely love all things Italy. Sergio is your typical bachelor who wants to love them and move on but Mandi is too special for just that. So they have their ups and downs but makes you OH so glad for the Up times. I will look to read the others in the series when they come out.
I thought this had promise, but it felt more like a beta read. The story and characters were not well developed and the editing was non-existent. The author would have been well served by passing this around to a few readers for some input before publishing. Perhaps she will do so before the next installment.
This was an enjoyable read, there were some parts that I just wanted to take the characters aside and shake them but overall it was great. I can't wait to see how the other guys fall and who they fall for.
So badly written I couldn't finish it. Bad grammar, shifting tenses, adjectives used as adverbs -- this novella has it all. The writing style makes me wonder if Rachel Angel is learning English as a second language.
I enjoyed this book very much. The story was good, even if it was slightly unrealistic but that's why I like books like these! If you like books about rich, hot people with a dream lifestyle gives this a go! It's a great quick read.
I thought this book had a good synopsis and it was a freebie so I picked it up. For a freebie it isn't BAD but it needs some work. The story and characters were not well developed and the whole book was in need of an editor.
Liked the book. Like the premise. Absolutely HATED all the errors in grammar, spelling and tense. Made the book hard to read. I understand this if the author's first book so I'm going to read the 2nd book in hopes some of the errors were caught by an editor. Not holding up much hope.
It was a good book. But I didn't really feel any connection between them. Then there was the hero's girlfriend cheating on him. Then the heroine cheating on him. There was so much cheating my head was spinning.
I don't know what to say. The book was so bad... The story, the characters, the writting, everything is ridiculous. It feels like reading a children book with some naughty words.
really enjoyed this book. I did not want it to end. it did have some grammar errors but I still liked the book. I will be reading more by th is author.
